He absolutely can be here for dealing with the Witch! I'm still thinking on some of the finer details of it, but methinks she'll behave a lot like a ghost - ie physical attacks won't be terribly effective (or have much of a chance to hit at all), and water is definitely out, but fire can be good to clear the globs of black water and do some damage, and the biggest weaknesses would be lightning and direct spiritual attacks - ie exorcism/spirit banishing spells.

excellent! honestly x'rhun has a big preference for fire and lightning spells but he'll still have a rough time because he's dealing not just with the mess going on now but also his death respawn sickness! so there can be a big long fight

Excellent! Given more negative emotions make for more powerful witches (and she has. A lot. Lmao) and that Ouse is already a horror game final boss, I imagine she'll be plenty tough to fight down in witch form even with weaknesses, so he'll probably need those advantages.

At least there's no trash to clear before the boss fight.

That's up to you! If you'd like him to fight her until he can't do more, that's fine. If you'd like to see the NML that is also cool - her tattoo is on her wrist.

I'm also not *entirely* opposed to killing her in general, but I think I'll save that for later.

i think i'll have him fight her until he has to run away! i think the fight itself would be real long

That works! Poor kitty can't solo the dungeon. It's okay, as long as he doesn't hold it against her later.
