October Plotting Post : Part 2

OCTOBER PART 2 PLOT PLOTTING POST

All those who have signed up for the second part to the October Event may plot here! Sign-ups have since been closed and you can find all group listings here as well as some important information pertaining the event. The event is here.

Only characters who have been signed up may interact directly with this event. However, characters can still bring attention to what's going on to the rest of Deerington. That means you can still have a character make a network post about something they have discovered and characters who are not signed up may interact with it. But as far as the actual investigation and obtaining items go, make sure to stick to just those who have been signed up!

If you have any problems or questions, let us know!

Please make sure to plot thoroughly with your group here and make sure that no one gets left out and everyone is on the same page to have a good time!

It will be assumed that all items have been obtained and sacrificed by November 1st at the latest. Your characters do not need to do this exactly IC, but for the sake of game-wide consistency, it will be figured that they have accomplished the task by this date at the latest.

Just putting this as a top-header for people in Group 1 to have a central location to plan things out and see who wants to do what!


Things to (potentially) deal with:

Monsters let loose in the hospital

Baby monster creepy crawlies

Cutting the baby deer free

Protect the baby deer

Watch out for the Nurses

Let's hash things out?

BRUCE

Involvement in that group: Bruce can help deliver the deer OR keep people safe. He might not necessarily Hulk out if he can help it (because close-quarters, people might get squashed). Maybe take a stick or bat to smacking the monster babies away unless someone breaks out the fire ahaaa.

Ideas for the Group: Chapter 1 seems relatively straightforward, so if people wanted extra shenanigans we could have some of the fighter types go ahead of the main group to keep the path clear, have some come up from the rear to deal with the Nurses while the ones inside the Nursery deal with the babies and the deer?

Also if fire is going to be used on the babies, gonna need fire control to make sure they don't burn the ward down around them...... Unless people would like to burn the Hospital down.

So far what I've plotted out is that X'rhun and Angela would be fighting some of the creepy crawlies, with X'rhun playing the dps tank and Angela being healer. The old cat dude is not up for much more than fighting because he's super tired, still feeling the symptoms of his death and super sore from having had multiple beast transformations. He doesn't have a lot of energy to put into more than fighting.

But I'm open to him fighting to protect someone!

Darcy

I already have a comment here with some info, but so far Angela and Darcy might take care of getting the deer out because they're both super compassionate people. So idk if other people want to get involved in that at all. Jean-Paul also volunteered to keep an eye out on them while they do this, but more people helping on the protection front wouldn't be a bad thing.

Will probably be hanging back to help those who need medical attention with Angela and stepping in to defend when necessary. He can take up the rear with the nurses if someone wants to do that with him?

BLAKE

Involvement:
• Nurse fights? And standing back while people beat on/burn up baby monsters because that... is not his game. D: D: D:
• General protection and overall backup and anything else y'all may need him for! Literally. If you've uttered "I wish someone would..." for anything, just hit me up and I'll try my best to do the thing. :3 Okay with filling out any role people might need to drive their character's story forward. /o/

Ideas:
• Someone messes something up!! I sort of love the idea of people having to wait through a "reset" period, but I can understand why everyone would be reticent to go that route. That being said, if anyone's interested, I'd be glad to offer Blake up to "botch" something. Maybe he can mess up the umbilical cord or something like that. Just in case anyone's into things not going as smoothly as possible. XD

I did volunteer JP to watch Darcy's back, because he lacks compassion so the contrast amuses me, but I am flexible if he'd be better utilized elsewhere. I 110% am down for him dealing with monster babies because it'll traumatise him a bit.

SPIDER-MAN

Character Name: peter parker / spider-man

Involvement in that group: peter will be dressed as spider-man during this event, so you'll be free to meet a masked super! he's actually p r e t t y familiar with the happenings of the hospital, especially the third floor. a while back he got caught up in some delightful antics on the third floor with the creepiest nurse creatures ever. hE'S NOT GONNA BE HAPPY BEING BACK but also he's a hero so he'll do what has to be done to protect the innocents.

i'm absolutely down to clown with just about anything here, whether it be saving your character or needing a little help with creepy baby monsters or keeping those nurses back: the sequel. lmk!

spider-man is great for:
• back-up
• saving your bacon
• webbing you out of a tight spot
• webbing up bad guys and creepy crawlies
• mildly lame but endearing jokes

Ideas for the Group: i feel like group 1's chapter is pretty straight-forward but i'm cool with whatever!

I am likewise cool with any and all monster punching if we want the spandex brigade to team up, either going in to the hospital or while leaving it? I mean, they've got to get that deer out safe and presumably that means going back the way they came?
