Hello, everyone! I'm Ashlee and I'm new to the game (and I'm super excited about the November plot, mmm mmmmm). I'm bringing in two characters, Peter Parker from Marvel's Spider-Man on the PS4, and Diarmuid from the indie movie Pilgrimage!



Peter Parker is your typical post-college-grad-scientist-superhero with a plethora of issues, and I'll be taking him a day or so after the Devil's Breath epidemic! He'll be chock full of spoilers from his game, so if there's anyone who is currently playing it and is trying to avoid spoilers, definitely avoid this dweeb and hit me up so I can try my best to avoid them. He's also Spider-Man. But who doesn't know that. Even my dog knows Spider-Man.



Diarmuid is a lil 13th century monkboy from a less well known canon, where he and a couple of monks are forced to pilgrimage across Ireland to deliver a relic to the Pope and stuff. It ends very bloody and sad, and Diarmuid's gonna be dealing with that as he settles into Deerington. He's very friendly, though paranoid with the stuff he's seen, so I'm excited to get him out there! He has... a lot to catch up on...

Both boys have been around Deerington long enough to get the gist of it, so they could either be new faces to your peeps or someone they've seen randomly in town here or there; Diarmuid maybe less, since he'd prefer keeping a distance and trying not to get into trouble... yet.

My name is Ax, and I'm playing Rei Hino from Sailor Moon here. She definitely do not know Peter Parker is Spider-Man. But she's probably at least heard of Arachnid-Man given how SM handles stuff. She's nice and he's nice and also a post college grad superhero

Diarmuid, though, is very likely someone Rei would enjoy getting to know. She's a priestess in canon, and extremely familiar with Catholicism. I think they'd likely find some common ground. Though, out of curiosity since I haven't seen the movie, is Diarmuid the same guy as the one in Irish mythology?

Henlo Deerington. I am new to the game, go by Silas, and am bringing in Pidge Gunderson/Katie Holt from Voltron: Legendary Defenders. She's a genius in many ways, and really damn good at things like infiltration and espionage. Also, she hits way harder than a 16 year old girl should be allowed to. Paladin of the Green Lion, Pidge takes a lot of pride in what she can do, and can be quite a chatterbox if you get her going about subjects she's knowledgeable on. Or a completely sarcastic and sassy gal. Depends on her mood atm.

eeeeeey sup deerington!!! I've been eyeing you for a while and I'm happy to be here, bringing one Bodhi Rook from the Star Wars anthology film: Rogue One. Bodhi is a former Imperial cargo pilot, who agrees to carry a message to the Rebellion about the Death Star. He's afraid, but also damn brave and determined to make things right.

What comes next is a jolly, happy story about rebels and following what's in your heart. 10/10 would recommend.

He's here from the end of the movie, after getting blown up by a thermal detonator.

annie is a 20yo rn but she’s been sleeping in a crystal for a few years from the 1900s and counting so what’s happening?? she doesn’t know, neither does she probably want to know. she’s got a beautiful nose and used to work as a double agent of sorts, making her one of the series’ earlier antagonists, but shhhhhhhe is just a lost girl among the chaos :( she doesn’t talk much or make friends easily but with development i’m looking forward to changing that!

she’s also got sharp sarcasm, deadpan jokes with truth, can turn into a giant (that’s capped at 6 meters/20 feet), likes donuts and fights like tony jaa

Hey all. I go by Latroma and I'm entirely new to Deerington. For those who've played opposite me in the past, I'm continuing what has become a tradition of bringing random characters in from canons I have no hope of ever seeing canon mates out of: Vira-Lorr from Idea Factory's "Record of Agarest War." It is a game from about a decade ago that is basically what happens if you mix a final fantasy tactics style game with a dating sim and make it take over 50 hours to complete.

Vira-Lorr is what is known as an Oneltes, a race of human-like people with a third eye that makes them gifted in magic and known for seeing the future (a trick that will obviously be rather muffled here, just like it was in canon.). She's a bit of an unconventional soul with a strong sense of personal liberty and humor who is really tired of the century-long war she's been participating in, so she may be a touch crabby about this situation, since her own world just ended and was reborn.

If you would like to get ahold of me, latroma works nicely, as does PM. Also, as in the past I am aware that not everyone is always interested in RPing opposite me or my characters, I maintain an opt-out here along with my permissions for your convenience. If you've opted out in a previous game, you may assume that I will be keeping that active in this one as well.

But in the meantime, looking forward to playing with you guys. I'll be wading into things over the weekend as soon as I'm able.

Hello!! My name is Lins and I was in Deerington once before with Natasha Romanoff of the MCU variety. Due to real life circumstances, I had to drop, but I am back now with a different lady from the MCU (because I have one type and that is ladies from the MCU), Wanda Maximoff!



Wanda is also known as Scarlet Witch, and she's from the (fictional) country of Sokovia, a place located somewhere in Easten Europe. I tend to use Bosnia and Serbia as my inspiration for her home country/language/culture. Wanda was experimented on by a fascist organization known as HYDRA — she was exposed to a magic relic known as an Infinity Stone that either gave her or awakened her latent powers, depending on who you ask. These powers are extensive, and involve minor telepathy and mental manipulation. I tend to play these powers as 'opt in', and won't usually use them on other player characters unless I have express permission to do so!

I've signed Wanda up to work in the cafe as a baker, so if you've got a character that frequents the cafe, hit me up for CR! I'm also debating putting her in FEAR, so that might be a thing down the line.

Hello! My name is AceOfSwords or AceOS as I've chosen to shorten it for Deer. I usually just go by Ace, but I saw there was already another player with that handle here, so I wanted it to be easier to tell us apart. ANYWHO I am bringing everyone's favorite Vint Dorian Pavus from Dragon Age: Inquisition and it's my first time with him in a game, so I hope I do him justice!

For those not familiar with Dorian, he is a proud and very skilled mage that sometimes comes off as a bit spoiled and egotistical. He knows he's pretty and is comfortable with his sexuality, so he tends to flirt with just about anyone and everyone even if he doesn't intend for it to go anywhere. Sorry ladies, Dorian loves men only, but he still makes a great gay bff to gossip with. His powers in Deer are going to be all kinds of wonky and he's not going to be happy about it. You might catch him flinging magic around since he'll be essentially relearning how to control things all over again. Some of his hobbies include reading, geeking out about magic and occasionally burning down schools being sassy and fabulous AF.



I've applied Dorian for either the Library Director or Manager position, whichever is available to him, since he'd most likely spend a lot of time there anyway. May as well make some money doing it, right? He may or may not end up with a night job as a bar tender somewhere, I haven't decided yet, but I also would like to see how things play out ICly for him first.

As for the November event I'm still trying to work out what to do with him.

Hello all! I’m Garshil and I’m bringing in Ronan Lynch from The Raven Cycle. He’s a magical asshole with PTSD and a bunch of secrets, including he’s kind of nice when you really get to know him and he likes you. He has dream powers that he will try not to use much here out of principle. He is a secret nerd, farmer, and protective of his friends but also thinks it’s ok to insult them. He’s also gay and has a psychic boyfriend despite being Catholic. Look, he’s just weird.

Since he’s a jerk and has a history of mental health issues plus what looks like self-harm scars, I have content warnings listed in his permission post. Please let me know if you prefer not to rp with him. He doesn’t go around talking about it, but given the nature of the game, his mental health will not be great overall.

As for me I have the bad luck of getting sick just before being accepted so I am going to try and get settled now. My plurk is subtextequals, which has some RL stuff on it, or you can PM me or find me on the chat. I prefer prose tags but can do brackets. I usually try to do at least once a day and more on the weekends but will probably be a bit slower for the next couple of weeks due to RL happenings.

Heyyyyyy, it's Shira, player of a sort of werewolf (herbmancer), a feral mutt (nakedsingularity), and now presenting an actual puppy, Ten Thousand (10K for short) from the ridiculous zombie show, Z Nation. Hey everyone! My name's Camlin and I play Prompto Argentum from FFXV here, and now I'm bringing in Sam Winchester from Supernatural: that long-lasting, wild and ridiculous show that I cannot quit. I played him in the TDM last month- thanks to everyone who tagged me over there!

I'm pretty pumped because I feel like he's a pretty good fit for the game in general. As far as current plotting ideas, I'm thinking I'm going to have him work at the library (a DREAM COME TRUE for him, I'm sure), and I'm wondering if I want him to get involved in F.E.A.R.? I'm thinking he might be a good fit for that, too. He's a super curious, investigative character by nature though so I imagine he's going to be very interested in chatting with people about their specific experiences here- no detail is too small to overlook!! So if you want your character to talk abut their traumatic times, FEEL FREE. He will likely give an empathetic ear in addition to an investigative one. He's very good with the Kind Words and Eyes for witnesses, so if they need to unload, he's your guy! I'd also love for him to get to know some fellow investigative characters too- teamwork makes the dreamwork, and all that! He's spent most of his life hunting monsters and dealing with supernatural (ha) stuff, but obviously things work differently here so he'll be thrown for a bit of a loop at first.

Very much looking forward to him making some friends here that will definitely COME BACK if they die, as well as any negative CR- he's a pretty sassy, willful guy so that's inevitable.

As far as content warning/permissions go, Supernatural is a show that deals with a lot of death, torture, monsters/body horror, and occult and religious themes. I'm taking Sam himself from Season 6, so he's recently spent a lot of time being tortured himself (not that he remembers it atm). If any of this is something you'd rather avoid, just let me know what! And if you're prefer to just not tag with me at all that's totally fine too, just let me know that too. You can just PM me or comment to my permissions post for that.

Hello!! My name is Sophie & I'm new to the game.. In fact I think the last game I joined was discedo, so I've been living the hermit lifestyle for a long while. I'm probably the last person on this site to make a plurk (newyawk) and I don't have any friends on there which always looks very sad so feel free to add me.



I'm going to be bringing you Cornelius Hickey from The Terror, a Victorian era British sailor who joined Franklin's expedition to the Arctic in 1845 and got stranded on the ice for the next three years. What happens next will shock you!! 🐀

But really, he's an ordinary human in the physical sense but very interested in the supernatural and especially what the supernatural can do to benefit him. He'll be coming into Deerington only slightly humbled by his experiences in canon, and he's a scavenger by nature so this really is a perfect event to walk into. He's the sort who'll probably spend his early days trying to figure out who will be the most useful to him so don't be surprised if he's suddenly all up in your business just because he's pegged you as someone important.
