AC & REWARD MOD CHANGES

Hey everyone! We wanted to make a few announcements due to some recent changes in our mod team. As everyone is likely already aware, our AC and Reward mod, Ami, has dropped from the game. We are reworking the split in duties of the mod team in order to make up for loss of a mod.

We apologize for the delays we’ve had in processing AC this month during the switch. The AC team is attempting to figure out the best way to streamline activity checks going forward so that the process will be simpler for everyone. Some of the changes that will be seen going forward will be:

Simcha is taking charge of AC and Rewards. You can contact her at any time with questions about either process.

One of our mod helpers, Kim, has volunteered to also answer questions about AC. Their contact information has been added to the mod contact page.

We’re going to try and simplify the wording of the current AC rules. Don’t worry, none of the rules are changing! Just the way some of them are phrased. Hopefully this will reduce common errors in activity checks going forward.

Mod helpers will now have their own journal, deerhelpers.

When large edits are needed in order to accept AC, players will now receive requests for those changes via PM. This will allow for players to edit their comments rather than having to redo all the coding work they put in with their initial comments. Please make sure you can receive PMs on your journal for this purpose!

We are looking for one more mod helper to assist in counting AC! If you are interested, please contact Simcha on keshet or on discord at hella#4424.

Also, as a reminder, MAY’S ACTIVITY IS CHECK IN ONLY. This means any points you collect will be bonus activity only. We are also going to be giving everyone 100 bonus points just for checking in as a way to celebrate our one-year anniversary!
