PLAYER PLOT AHOY!

So I just got approval for a permanent player plot for Moira that could be beneficial to uh... Everybody who wants to make their characters a little stronger and poooooossibly a little more fucked up if you're so inclined.
The original request with deets and such is here, but the gist is that back in the world of Overwatch, Moira is a geneticist who specializes in making super soldiers and curing diseases. She's continued this research here and she has her machines from home, and after several months (over a year, honestly) of working at it, she's finally able to offer people all of the goods from home!
Moira can cure hereditary diseases mostly, but with the help of Angela Ziegler, they can also cure long-standing illnesses as well. She'll also be able to help with mental instability, like with the effects of the Winter Lantern back in January, or help to alleviate symptoms from extreme PTSD — you know, that thing that... everyone probably has at this point.
She can also give you super powers! Do you wanna run real fast? She's got you. Wanna turn into cool mist and reappear several feet away from your original position? ALRIGHT. Super strength? Easy as pie!
... Downside is that it may come with some slight side effects. These can be discussed OOCly and the severity is entirely up to the player, but they can range from light scarring, to altering a person's sense of morality, to uh... their body literally being incapable of keeping a solid form without some real hard work on their part (sorry about that, Reyes).
Powers are also somewhat limited. Moira can't make anyone actually immortal and because of the warps in Deerington she won't be offering self-healing. She also can't make anyone fly or breathe under water or anything that would require a heavy reworking of the internal systems of the human body without uh... possibly killing someone, so she won't be doing any of that, either.
Moira's journal has an official info & sign ups page for convenience. You can contact me through PMing this journal, commenting to this post, on plurk at
This got longer than I expected and I'm so sorry. I'll have her start to spread the news ICly once I'm sure I've got enough interest OOCly. Thanks, guys!

QUESTION

Vira-Lorr, on the other hand? Nope, she's fine. This is fine. No improvements please.

Really though, Moira will be pretty public with it, so I'm sure she'll get a decent chance to find out. She will also probably want to pry more about those experiments though, since altering the genetics of people who have had previously altered genetics gets tricky and she's trying to like, not destroy peoples bodies this time maybe.

*nodnod* Perfect. I'm pretty sure that the experiments don't qualify as genetic-related, but it'll be good for conversations. ^_^
