Day to Day Activities: Ruby's an active little duck. She loves to hit up the arcade, movie theatre, comic book store and library. The ice cream parlour and pizza store are her favorite spots to grab food. She also spends a fair amount of time working on customizing weapons and training. She's an anime style action girl, she's down to clown whether it's slice or life or intense action.

About This Character: Ruby is an awkwardly cheerful bundle of energy. She's a Huntress and the leader of Team RWBY (Pronounced Ruby, because that's not confusing.). She fights monsters and does her best to make the world a better place. While she generally does her best to come off as carefree she's got the weight of her world on her shoulders and a boat load of trauma that she's just not dealing with.

Any Warnings: Mentions of death, dismemberment, she's from a world where nightmare monsters that are attracted to negative emotions exist. So pretty Grimm topics can come up.

Present Life: July is being about as unkind to Ruby as it can. Her boyfriend became the ultiamte betrayer and made her promise to stop him if he started going off the deepend. And then he went off the deepend and she's stuck trying to stop him.

She was very close winning a game of "slowly convince the people who want to murder me not to go through with it" but July's plot also threw a wrench in that and she's going to be killed by her long time enemy Neopolitan. So that's great.

In general she's been out there doing her absolute best to help everyone out and all her hard work is starting to crumble around her. The poor girl is going to be demoralized after this month and is going to slowly start picking up the pieces once the dust has settled.

Future Ideas:
- Ruby eventually going to drop out of the criminal weapons and making and offer to make custom weapons for people. She comes from a world where almost everything is a melee weapon and also a gun so odds are they'll all end up being a little bizarre.
- She's had a few threads where she's started teaching other people how to hold their own in a fight. I'd like her to get more involved with that.
- Her uncle showed up in the game recently. She's going to have a network post at some point just gushing about her cool trash family.
- In August she's at least going to be pretty darn depressed but working to get that spring back in her step.


CR You Want: Everything! Friends! Enemies! She's a huge dork who wants to have fun, and also right wrongs and triumph over evil. It would be fun for her to run into more people that can kind of act as a mentor to her and on the flipside people she can work to teach.

Day to Day Activities: Gee walks to and from work, spends time at cafes he likes and digging through libraries and any other research facility he can reasonably get into. He likes spending time in the woods.

About This Character: Gee is a changeling, which means he was once human and now... mostly isn't anymore. He was changed by one of the Fae after living with them in Arcadia for some time untold. He can't remember most of his life before going to Arcadia, and he only remembers Arcadia clearly in dreams (which means he's been remembering it more clearly since getting to Deerington). Gee is kind of paranoid and it leads him to hide things that are important and to have various fail-safes in anything he designs. He's also generally suspicious of anything that seems Too Good. He's currently interested in digging into the mystery of Sodder and Deerington and is willing to do a lot of things to get information. Full background/personality here.

Any Warnings: Past includes elements of body horror and violence, war; paranoia, anxiety, memory loss.

Present Life: Gee has had a bumpy time with relationships, still not entirely sure what is and isn't real in Deerington. He's dived into researching Sodder and Deerington wholeheartedly and shares information with Jonathan Sims. He's had people helping him get his house back in order (sorry I haven't posted for this - my RL has was a shambles for a while). His recent big adventure was fighting the Pthmerian Queen and dealing with rumors.

Future Ideas: I'd like toe develop more of his CR; his somewhat rocky start is definitely in part due to my erratic schedule and RL stress, which is now subsiding! Yay! I'm interested in pooling information with other people that are researching Sodder/Deerington and generally interested in getting him out there more. Gee also has a habit of feeding on the fear of other people, so I'd love to do more with that? He'll do it if he feels threatened or if he needs a power boost for some reason.

He has a plotting post here for the current event but no TL yet.

Day to Day Activities: What can they normally be found doing? This is usually the handwave stuff people don't bother to role play every second of.

About This Character:
Glitch in the long and short of it is a gremlin child. Pretty stand offish, rude and probably sounds super aggressive when you meet him. Wants to be self reliant but is pretty realistic in terms of making allies for survival's sake. Though his good points are he's extremely loyal and is willing to protect the few people he considers friends.

Background wise Glitch grew up in a thing called The Dome to protect the last bits of humanity for a supposed nuclear apocalypse. Children, teens and adults are separated between different domes and are raised apart from one another. Glitch's upbringing was particularly rough in the Teen dome for the long work hours and how little there was to eat. So, he pretty much broke the rules with a bunch of other kids and participated in an illegal fight club to earn extra food tickets. Plot twist though, the domes are made to contain the super powered population of the world and the whole end of the world thing is made up to keep people from leaving.

Dealing with Glitch means dealing with a very particular sassy, rude teen who has been experiencing a lot of new things in Deerington. Expect a lot of weird questions what a guitar is or what sweets are, something akin to that. If you want to know more my App goes more into depth of his world, history and personality.
Any Warnings: Child abuse and mild cases of starvation are something that can be mentioned sometimes. Also he swears a lot, like a lot.

Present Life: Glitch is pretty much experiencing things that a normal teen might actually get to experience. You know, aside from the horror of Deerington. There's a lot of weird culture shock for him since there's a lot lacking in the dome. Effectively, he's become a freedom gremlin and is pretty much doing whatever he wants. He's reading a lot of books now. Important game stuff though is he tried to cover for Fern for stabbing him...that didn't turn out because Monokuma. Also he's been trying to hide his powers for the most part but has revealed himself to a handful of people already, the event with it's punishment game is probably going to completely expose him though.

Future Ideas: Stuff you want your character to eventually be doing, ideas you maybe have for some development etc.

CR You Want:
Found Family: What better way to learn how much you missed out on when you get a bunch of people to be like family. Gimme your moms, dads, weird aunts and uncles, and all them sibling and cousin type figures. In return you get what angry boy who will fight for you.

Friendships: Time for him to develop meaningful relationships that don't depend on survival or feeling like you owe somebody. Give this boy a friend.

Romance?: Not for a long time yet, but Glitch is probably going to get a couple of crushes on some big soft boys. But, that's it. Nothing really of note to here other than this is likely to be a long game since he's a mess of trust issues.

Training: He's quick, he's grace, he'll kick you in the face. While Glitch is pretty quick on his feet he's got poor upper body strength and he could actually use some real training with hand to hand combat. So, I'm down for trainers. He's picked up throwing knives so anything to do with that could be fun. Really, weapon focused stuff is also good too.

Negative CR: Not sure what kind but I'm up for all kinds of Negative Cr. He's definitely got a pretty abrasive personality so I could see him rubbing some people the wrong way.

Regardless, I'm open to anything under the sun. You've got a cool CR idea let me know.

Ruby not from a zombie apocalypse world but her nightmare world has made it pretty easy for her to sort of relate to people who've been going through that.

I think it might be neat to toss these two at one another. Maybe they can meet at the gun range and sass one another?

Ruby would definitely appreciate the spiked bat, it's old school but she appreciates the classics.

I really want to fling Kyoko at Arid and see how it goes! I don't think she'd get all that pressed about Arid's dislike of humans because no matter how you look at it, that's pretty valid.

Maybe they can be trauma buddies since the entire purpose of magical girls is to fall into despair. Don't worry Arid, organic sentient, emotionless creatures are just as bad as humans!

Also, I was just really excited to see somebody playing Arid.

Rupert Giles | Buffy the Vampire Slayer

About This Character: The Mentor Character. Giles is an expert on all things supernatural; his job is to train the Vampire Slayer. Picture a posh British middle-aged dad, then give him a library of ancient tomes and a couple of advanced degrees in whatever sounds esoteric and spooky. Adopts wayward teens with incredible speed. Can be counted on to look fondly exasperated about your Wacky Teen Drama, beg you to spare him the gory details, and make you a nice cup of tea.

Any Warnings: Just the standard violence, monsters, and murders. The canon loss/death of his practically-daughter, Buffy, may come up.

Present Life: The college librarian! Getting settled into the madness of town and pulling together resources from the various sources in town: books, notes on past events, assorted medieval weaponry.

Future Ideas: So I apped Giles, promptly went on a month-long hiatus, & then kicked off a month of Jon Sims insanity. LET'S TRY AGAIN. I might like Giles to find some kind of "home base" location closer to the center of town, since he lives out at the fringes; he might like to pick up a different job (Book Shop? anything magic-related?), or lean into his College Librarian one. He doesn't have magic of his own, but can use other people's external sources of power, like magic items or rituals that work in Deerington. And I'd like him to adopt a squad of largely Good-aligned young people, as he do.

- Researching in the FEAR library, and quite possibly dozing off at his desk.
- Researching in the town library or Book Shop.
- In July: stopping by random walls to read every. single. rumor.
- Running away from the danger of the month, as he's a total noncombatant.

About This Character: Prickly supernatural researcher who looks like he's been chewed up by a dozen different horror tropes (he has) and hasn't properly slept in a year (he hasn't). Jon has had a rough few years: he's gone from "rude posh academic at some London institute" to "guilt-ridden monster man trying to save the world." He feeds on memories of horror and throws eerie eldritch vibes to people who can pick up on those.

Any Warnings: LOTS OF THEM, but most won't come up unless we plot for it. You'll be most likely to encounter violence mentions, eerie eye imagery, fears relating to being watched, enjoyment of someone else's suffering, and supernatural compulsions and addictions. Optional extras include hardcore body horror, burrowing insects, captivity, claustrophobia, isolation, disorientation, monsters, and murder.

Present Life: Living with his soft bf Martin Blackwood and coworker Sasha James, and trying to solve Deerington. Jon is collecting records of people's paranormal experiences, from here or at home, and looking for patterns in all the past and present horror. He is having a VERY INTENSE JULY, as "Ultimate Archivist" sets him into full-fledged Eldritch Eye Monster Mode at the drop of a hat; he now has that somewhat under control, and will be on trial around the 22nd, then dying shortly afterward.

Future Ideas: Jon will be spending August trying to keep his head down, but he'll probably be awful at it. He has a lot going on with his established CR (y'all I just made this man's CR chart, and the people who've tried to kill him outnumber the friends...) so I won't be tagging out much with him unless requested. He'd like to spend more time in the Great Sleep and explore Sodder's Heart.

Day to Day Activities: He hasn't settled into a daily routine yet. Mostly he spends time walking around the areas of Deerington, getting a lay of the land and trying out various eateries to determine his favorites. He can also be seen practicing his animal transformations sometimes or just plain traveling around in animal form. And lately he's also been just trying to beat the heat!

About This Character: A light-hearted optimistic young superhero with the ability to turn into animals and other creatures. He can be pretty goofy and likes cracking jokes, although he's also gained a sense of responsibility especially now that he's been leading a superhero team back home. As leader of the Outsiders, he strives to inspire and be a role model for young metahumans. He also has his share of trauma that he's working through, and worked as an actor in a Star Trek-esque show for a while. He's generally friendly and eager to make more friends.
Any Warnings: He has trauma involving the deaths of others, which he will only detail if asked about his past. This includes parental death/forced suicide. It's possible for his trauma to be set off by waterfalls or even things like bees and honey. Also discussion of events in his home world could involve the major plot thread of the most recent season of Young Justice, which involved the concept of metahuman trafficking, which comes with talk of the exploitation and deaths of minors. These are all unlikely to come up in casual conversation unless prompted. I'll do my best to warn and be mindful of others' preferences.

Present Life: Gar just got here the other month, so he's mostly been settling in and Dealing with his first two events. For this one, he's the Ultimate Gopher and focusing exclusively on gopher transformations. He doesn't have a top level for the current event yet, but I do have a plotting comment for him here.
Future Ideas: I don't have a definite character arc planned for him. Generally I want him to build up CR, figure out plot stuff for him to do and see how he develops through that and events.

CR You Want: Friends! Fellow super people and young people, animal lovers, found family, mentors, characters from other versions of DC. Characters who can challenge him or have friction with him are also welcome, and possible enemies to be at odds with.

Personal Style: I am genuinely 50-50 when it comes to prose or action. I tend to backtag, get to everything once a day. If someone wants or needs to boomerang, I can prioritize.

Character Name: Rowan Damisch
Age: 18
Employment in Deerington: Taking classes at the college.
Residence in Deerington: David Cliff Apartments
Day to Day Activities: Rowan works out a lot. He's Notably Buff, but not in the heavy body building way, just beefy. So more often than not he can be caught on runs and doing workouts in parks, etc. He's also taking art classes and the like at the college, so he'll be around attempting to sketch things.

About This Character: Rowan has been trained to kill a human in every way there is to kill a human and then some. He also believes in using this power for Good, even if it is at the cost of his own soul. In his world, no one dies, except by the hand of a Scythe, a secularly ordained killer, to maintain population control (supposedly). Rowan was selected as an apprentice to one such Scythe, who attempted to teach him the honorable way to kill people and to respect them as they died. He succeeded. Then that Scythe "died" and Rowan was taken in by a psychopath. There were a lot of mass killings and Pyschopath Scythe walking around calling himself the Alpha and the Omega during them. It was cute. So Rowan killed him and went on a mission to eliminate all the Bad Scythes from the world. Then more stuff happened but it's gruesome so we won't go into it here.

Generally Rowan is a really sweet kid. He just has tons of PTSD and a skewed view of himself that builds upon the idea that he is evil and a weapon and needs to be carefully used.

Any Warnings: He doesn't talk about it unless he has to, but as a heads up there's body horror/mutilation, pseudo-suicide (no one can die, so it's kind of weird, but...), mass murder, graphic depictions of violence and child negligence. Let me know if there's anything there you don't want discussed.

Present Life: I'm not sure what I'm doing with the current plot. I'm sure Rowan will have to be put on trial and being on the jury would be especially interesting for him, but I'm a bit lost, currently. So... ideas are welcome and anything I can tag into would be great.
Future Ideas: At this point he just needs people to talk to to develop into potentially hard conversations

Any Warnings: She comes with some prejudice and racist baggage against her kind. Also some body horror.

Present Life: At the moment, Airy's primary concern is protecting the plants from the Betties and helping people escape the robot-bears. She's not going on trial, just because I don't think she has enough CR for it to have an impact. She is happy to help others get over their guilty, though. She's aggressively optimistic.
Future Ideas: I would certainly like to build up to a point where she feels safe enough to "come out" as a non-human. But that's going to take some doing.

About This Character: Elizabeth is a friendly, curious girl who is just beginning to come into her own after spending her life trapped in a tower. She can be naive about some things but isn't afraid to stand her ground. She comes from 1912 and has the ability to create tears to other realities.
Any Warnings: The city Elizabeth comes from is built on 1900s-era racism. Elizabeth does not hold these views and this is unlikely to come up in conversation, but it still obviously needs the warning.

Present Life: Elizabeth has begun to find her feet here, spending a lot of time catching up on history and culture, and finding out about the worlds the other Sleepers come from. She just had her house wrecked by a Monokuma robot and nearly lost herself to her shadow in her guilt that she might actually be quite selfish and not so perfect as she likes to present herself. Apart from that, she's not really had too much going on.
Future Ideas: Opportunities to use her powers, exploring more outside of the town itself, learning some self defense, maybe learning to drive

Day to Day Activities: buzz doens't actually have a set routine-- he mostly just does whatever needs to be done that day! which means he is very flexible for cr stuff, though he doesn't tend to go very far from home. he is tiny. it takes so long to get anywhere.

About This Character: buzz lightyear is a toy astronaut from the little known anime "toy story." he's the deuteragonist (ok tritagonist) of the series and generally acts as woody's second in command. he used to think he was a real boy, discovered he was actually a real toy, then had a real... big mental breakdown. now he knows his place in the world and can do a load of sick flips thanks to the space ranger training he remembers for some reason. his pull point is from the end of the fourth movie after the Thing on the merry go round but before the year time skip. he's also basically married jessie. he loves her and the rest of his family very much!!

Present Life: right now he's still a fairy, and will remain so until the end of july. the notion to change back has crossed his mind a few times, but then he gets distracted with his single-minded fae emotions and decides that flying is way too cool to give up!! he's a flying toy now. sort of.
Future Ideas: i mostly just go with the flow! buzz's main thing is just trying to survive, keep his family safe and be useful to the people in the town when he's 8 inches tall
