Castiel (AU) | Supernatural

Character Name: Cas (full name Castiel, but will always insist on being called Cas)
Age: physically mid-thirties, but is older then creation
Employment in Deerington: FEAR
Residence in Deerington: 301 Clover Lane
Day to Day Activities: Fear related work, yoga and meditation at home. Can also be spotted out and about getting lowkey overwhelmed by busy crowds, and having no clue about how to exist in a semi-functioning society

About This Character: Cas is a fallen angel who's only life experience has been in a post-apocalyptic setting, where he died on a pointless mission. He's currently struggling with a very jaded, self-loathing prone outlook on his existence. He can be very sarcastic, rude, snide, but also flirtatious. He tries to keep people at emotional arm's length because he's broken and doesn't know how to handle genuine connection and emotion. More info HERE

Present Life: His cast has sort of imploded with a lot of people from alternative timelines, which complicates his emotional landscape a bit. He's undergoing a relapse and a bit of an identity crisis as a result, all the while he's trying to do better, and mend some bridges he'd assumed long broken. He's finding some purpose with Fear, and is trying to find ways to help AU!Sam with his little possession problem.
Future Ideas: After some set-backs, the goal is for him to be mostly clean when it comes to abusing harder drugs. I'd love for others to realize how much genuine physical pain he is in, as it affects a lot of his issues. He'll also try to establish a tactical ops branch in Fear after some establishing time.

Oh, Cas might not be very healthy company for poor Qrow in that regard - he's still *deep* in his substance abuse, and like currently the best he can hope for is kick the harder stuff for alcohol and weed. So yes - but proceed with caution ;)

And yeah, the CR with Eleven is shaping out cute so far!

Age: 14
Employment in Deerington: n/a
Residence in Deerington: 3253 Castle Road
Day to Day Activities: Eleven is currently still exploring, and getting used to this strange place. She will wander around Deerington with her half-plague-doctor mask, strange lantern strapped to her belt, creepily staring at anything and everything.

About This Character: Eleven's development has been stunted due to her upbringing in social isolation. She is curious, likes to lean, and is somewhat wary of most adults, especially soldiers and scientists, but trust can be earned. She is very malleable to things taught to her by those she trusts. She's also telekinetic and psychic. More Info here

Present Life: Eleven only just arrived and is trying to form up bonds with her cast mates, though she can often be found wandering around Deerington on her own, too, exploring to her heart's content. She doesn't quite know yet what to do with her new-found freedom.
Future Ideas: She's protective of those she cares about, and her CRAU means she has learned that when Bad Things happen, everyone needs to help out. She'll therefore not hesitate to confront danger head on through volatile use of her powers.

Hello! I'm really enjoying Peter talking to Eleven; she's so precious and their thread already gives me so many feels.... As you could probably gather from his gloomy introspection, he comes with a lot of Dead Little Sister aches & pains, and Eleven definitely reminds him of her. Charlie was pretty offbeat and did things like build creepy little dolls out of random parts of things, and...... collect dead birds.....

Peter also happens to be possessed by a traumatised, fucked-up demon king who is kind of infused with his little sister's soul??? He doesn't know that yet, just that it "displays her weird habits" sometimes. I keep having this mental image of his demon just wanting to like, do art with Eleven and make things gjgl;f...... He would find her fascinating and familiar to Charlie??

I really love how Eleven is like, an innocent with this immense power; Paimon's a lot like that too. He doesn't know how to control himself / his powers right now, and I love the thought of him interacting with kids because he'd have a lot more chill around them?? He has a very hard time communicating, so finding other ways to do that (through art, the very "simplistic" / literal way Eleven sees things, etc.) would be.... creepily cute...

HONESTLY, Peter and Eleven is that sort of CR I never even thought about, and then we tagged and I was just like ".... YES! MORE!"

I really love it all, the way Peter related her to Charlie and knows how to sort of work through her verbal ticks and can handle the way her mind works just a little off beat sometimes a little better, and oh my gosh I love your idea for Paimon, too? Eleven in her CRAU has learned to fold origami birds, so arts and crafts are definitely a way into her heart. She loves her glitter pens too, and will happily share them.

OH you're canon familiar, I'm really glad! Check me always trying to explain bits of Peter/Paimon/Hereditary in general and probably failing miserably....... But ohhh my gosh, right? The Stranger Things kids have been unexpectedly and delightfully wonderful to explore with him, and I was super excited to see Eleven join the mix!

I'm so weak for exploring kids who grew up in atypical / traumatic situations and how that would affect them later on. Paimon's such a wild spectrum but I'm just starry-eyed at the thought of him being able to relate to El, like the whole fact they both were essentially manipulated by like, a group of people with an agenda....... Arts and glitter though, y'all it's so pure..... ;;;;;;;

Peter finally knows! It's taken him like... a year, but he knows Paimon's name by now and that he's a "demon king", but not much more than that! The canon point I took him from was right after Paimon permanently got into him but before the cult explained who he was?? So that's been part of the process and Paimon's still very lost on all that. He's been reaching out to anything that feels familiar / could help him understand himself, so I could absolutely see him being drawn to El and just straight up wanting to hang w her, show her his crafts too. :')
