Varian | Tangled

Character Name:Varian
Age: 16
Employment in Deerington: Student in Deerington High School and works part-time in Petrova Apothacary.
Residence in Deerington: #25 Raccoon Alley with Glitch and Fern.
Day to Day Activities: He goes to school EVERY DAY because the little weirdo actually loves it- and of course, spends quite a bit of time at the apothecary. Otherwise, he's a pretty anti-social creature, he spends most of his time in his basement lab at home. When he can be dragged out into the light of day he can be found at the library a lot. He gathers supplies in the National Park and the junkyard- the latter of which is where his death statue is.

About This Character: A teenage alchemist with a mind that's firing way too many cylinders at once. Varian is obsessed with a Capital O about science and spends most of his time creating potions and machines to try and make the world a better place. He grudgingly knows a bit about magic, too- only because his world is chock full of it and his weirdo friends keep dragging him into their magical adventures. Science is superior though, prove him wrong!!
He's a reformed villain- having a rough patch in the middle there that he categorically will try to avoid talking about. He has a desperate need for praise and validation so if you give him that he will literally walk through fire for you. He's a righteous little shit who always thinks he's the smartest person in the room- but does genuinely want to do good in the world. He's often accompanied by his semi-sentient raccoon, Ruddiger or Actual Member Of The Corona Guard Maximumus.
Any Warnings: Varian has an absolute shed-load of self-loathing issues. The whole Former Disney Villain thing weighs heavy on him and he has a massive guilt complex about it. It's deeply unlikely he'll bring it up, but if he does there's parental magical not-death, kidnapping, drugging, attempted murder, prison and an attempted suicide mission.

Present Life: Varian's had a really crappy few months. He convinced Glitch and Jon to trap the Grass Demon in the Great Sleep which made Fern lose it and eventually die- causing a few messy death-related fallouts with other characters too. Fern then came back with death-amnesia. Ruby lost it completely when her family died and adding to him dealing with Glitch and Usagi having equally real bad times of it, he's been very stressed out. On the 14th, he lost his right leg when Kurt ate it as the bamf dragon, and he's spent most of the time since healing up from that. He's currently building a prosthetic which should be able to be used towards the end of November. He can get around on crutches, so people might see him around and about near the house. He's also entered a Prank War with Stan Pines, because why not. Rapunzel is in game now so he'll be quietly monitoring how people are with her- be nice to his Designated Disney Princess or he'll murder you with a shovel :|

Future Ideas: He's starting to study Deerington a little more- he now knows thanks to the Moss King's vision that he has the ability to build a trans-dimensional portal, and wants to find a way to get people out of the dream. However, he wants to find a way to make it so everyone remembers this place first. He's got big plans that he's mostly keeping quiet about. I'm planning to canon-bump him in January to the end of the series where he'll be a little more emotionally stable. Only a little though, don't expect miracles.

CR You Want: Anyone! Varian is a weird kid who's friends back home are almost all adults, so he gets on with adults better than he does people his own age. That said, he's finally getting used to having other teen friends, please help him be a normal teenager, he has no idea how to do that. He's also really easy to get negative CR from, so if you want that, go for it. He's an opinionated little shit and very good at getting on people's bad sides.
CR You Don't Want: No need for more romance, he's already got more than enough of that madness to deal with. One-sided crushes are fine but he'll be awkward about it.

Employment in Deerington: F.E.A.R., the comic book shop as the event planner, and she's attending courses at the community college.
Residence in Deerington: 8765 Starling Lane
Day to Day Activities: Usagi is a busy girl on purpose and by nature. She does various shifts at the comic book shop, takes Tuesday/Thursday classes at the college, and then does night patrols for F.E.A.R. she also can be found frequenting the arcade, the craft store, and any and all clothing stores because she's almost as fond of shopping as she is of sleeping and eating.

About This Character: Usagi is bright, bubbly, always trying to help, and wants to be friends with basically everyone. She is a bit of a massive klutz and pretty much crushes on anyone instantly if they're pretty enough. She's sweet but she's a massive ball of energy. Everything about her is loud and bright and energetic, when she's more withdrawn and mute, that's when you know something is wrong. She's not DUMB but her intelligence is certainly not in the academic areas, to put it nicely. She is also a massive klutz and can and does trip over a pebble in the street or gets smacked in the face somehow or other... unless she's ballroom dancing, in which case, she's then actually incredibly graceful and poised. She DOES have a temper and some sass, but it's rare to see. She is also Eternal Sailor Moon, guardian of the moon and Earth, and will very much kickass if need be or outright kill someone or something with very little hesitation. She's a ridiculously competent fighter when Sailor Moon with the whole grace, poise, and kicking ass in a frilly mini-skirt to boot. For someone who has been informed that she is literally going to be a target for attack all of eternity unless she foists that responsibility onto someone else, she's pretty upbeat and go-lucky.

Any Warnings: Usagi is a soldier so she has seen battle, has had to kill, and her entire kingdom suffered a mass genocide at the hands of humans. She also was stalked, kidnapped, harassed, and then sexually assaulted as a teenager by one of her enemies. She has also attempted and successfully committed suicide.

Present Life: Sooooo she died in October, so currently she's suffering from massive Death Flu, and when she's not suffering from massive Death Flu, she's suffering from PTSD from having been trapped inside her own head while Evil!Her went on a maiming/killing spree and nearly tried to destroy all of Deerington. She's trying to push away that trauma, because well, she doesn't really know how to mentally handle trauma since canonically she doesn't GET to cause a new baddie is always around the corner. This is the first time she's really had to SIT with and process what the hell happened to her and to others. She also revealed herself to be Serenity/the moon goddess so there is... that.

On the plus side, she got her healing abilities back and short of bringing back the dead, she's finally able to heal and help people the way she's always ACTUALLY wanted to and her healing abilities are ridiculously OP.

Future Ideas: Not at the moment since death flu, but Mermaid!Usagi is going to happen since MERMAIDS. Other than that, I don't have much for her since her dealing with "evil Serenity" and the fallout from that is really what's going to be on the plate for her.

LMAO uhhh. Well, a whole bunch of castmates just showed up so things are wild for Dean right now! The most important changes though are that the Cas from his world showed up in October (after Dean had sent him to his death whoops) and his bro Sam (complete with a certain devil) who he hasn't seen for 5 years showed up in November.

Dean also died in October so he's suffering through the effects of death flu.

Oh, and there's another version of him fresh from Hell running around. Affectionately dubbed "Mini Me".

And a Sam who's older than him.

...he might have also just found out that Jack = Lucifer's kid.

Future Ideas:
At some point I'd love Dean to be part of an organised group training Sleepers in how to better defend themselves from monsters and the like :3

About This Character: Carlos is a scientist that studies anomalous phenomena and has spent the past several years in the scientifically fascinating community of Night Vale. He is quick to get involved, often risking his own safety for the sake of knowledge. His definition of science ("I don't know, but I'm trying to find out, okay?") suggests both his love for his field and his frustration with the occasionally trying process of finding answers. But he wants those answers, no matter where the process takes him.

Any Warnings: Carlos is accustomed to Deerington-levels of strangeness thanks to living in Night Vale. He may make comparisons that reference secret government organizations, shadowy cabals, strange phenomena, and angels. Carlos has some trauma in his past, but he avoids speaking of it for the most part. He has some memory loss (he does not remember how he got to Night Vale).

Fern | Adventure Time

Age: 17
Employment in Deerington: FEAR combat and weapons specialist, student at Deerington high.
Residence in Deerington: 25 Raccoon Alley with Varian and Glitch. He also has a treehouse near Lake Tomie.
Day to Day Activities: Fern attends school during the day. He also has daily training sessions with Maul, and regular gun training with K. 

About This Character: Fern is the result of Adventure Time's main character, Finn, getting turned into a sentient sword and then merging with another sentient cursed sword, the Grass Sword. He's now made out of grass and has various plant powers, and has two separate minds making up his Fern self: a human teenager who grew up in a post-apocalyptic Earth (and used to be a cosmic entity of change), and an eldritch horror octopus-spider. Fern's self esteem is essentially non-existent so he's often extremely self-loathing, and he generally thinks violence solves everything. On top of all that he has severe problems with his identity, having lost his previous one as Finn, and frequently questions his personhood. 
Any Warnings:  Being made out of grass Fern comes with buckets of body horror! On top of that he has low self-esteem, and has a lot of issues with his identity. He also has very violent tendencies and his past involves violence against children, death and parental neglect/abuse. Grass Demon comes with cephalopod and spider imagery.

Present Life: OH BOY. September and October were a mess for Fern. Back during September he learned he goes and dies permanently in Ooo, so he doesn't want to go home. Then, in an attempt to try and fix Fern's problems, Jon, Glitch and Varian tried to trap the Grass Demon in the Great Sleep. This didn't go super well for Fern and though Luna and K got him out of there, it was still enough to destabilize Fern and kill him (but not before he killed Jon with Maul). This resulted in his third death and a month's long in game and canon amnesia. Recently his amnesia ended, which unlocked his mental vault a little and caused him to remember that he is, in fact, part eldritch monster. Fun times!

During October Fern went rose monster-y and killed and attacked several characters. Some of his close cr has also been going through some hard shit like limb loss and he's been doing what he can to help support them.
Future Ideas: Fern has been actively denying a huge part of his very existence for years now, and realizing this is a pretty horrible experience for him so it's something he'll be coming to terms with for a while. 

In December he'll also be making a network post about offering fighting training for kids and teens (and maybe adults who need help learning to defend themselves). It also looks like he'll be helping Eda and Stan out with their respective businesses via scavenging.

Long term, he and Varian are quietly looking into multiversal portals and how to retain Deerington memories without having to 'go home.' Because breaking time and space is no big deal when you're a stubborn trash teen.
CR You Want: Fellow eldritch beings! Other kids and teens his age. Fern bounces really well off of morally grey/questionable characters, particularly if they're adults who can provide him with validation when he acts morally grey. Characters who can help him get through his whole 'I'm a monster' problems, since his self worth is currently at an all time low would also be great.

I'm also definitely here any time for some kind of follow up with Fern and Peter, and I keep thinking how good (and sad) it would be if it leads into them talking about Will and Ben.... :'D I feel like at this point, Peter would directly ask Fern why he doesn’t like him, so maybe it could lead into the whole Will thing? Peter's never really... talked about losing Ben and Will, so it'd be hella bittersweet if he actually did that with Fern.

About This Character: Nat's coming from ENDGAME so she's been carrying a lot of guilt with her the past five years since The Snap. Her family of The Avengers are the most important thing she's had in a long time in her life and so she'll do whatever it takes to keep them together and make sure they're both safe and ok. She can be very blunt and sarcastic with her words sometimes and doesn't always talk much about herself unless she really knows or trusts you but, she's still flirty and a little playful at times. She's not one for beating around the bush and prefers to get all the facts by whatever means necessary so she knows what she's up against and dealing with.

Any Warnings: Nat's past comes with themes of violence, death, PTSD, brainwashing, forced sterilization, guilt, self-sacrifice. These typically only come up with people she trusts and are marked with content warnings if they do.

Present Life: She arrived last month and hoo boy that sure was a month to arrive in. So far only Tony and Scott know that she died and she plans to (maybe) keep it that way which also means she's been keeping herself busy with things so as not to let her thoughts linger too long on the whole she's not got nothing waiting for her whenever she leaves here. She's a bit bummed Steve left before she could see him but she's also like w/e let him go have a happy ending like he deserves. Otherwise, she's just been familiarizing herself with the place, learning who's here that she knows, and trying to get her hands on weapons since this place decided to be rude and only give her one thing from her normal arsenal.

Future Ideas: The only thing I've got right now is for Nat to follow up/strengthen what CR she's gently made this and last month and to see where it goes from there.

Day to Day Activities: At the moment he's mostly checking out the city. Some of that is done while following Sam around, and some is on his own. He's trying to learn to use his powers too. But that's mostly in private. Anyone who's able to feel angelic energy though, hmu. We can do a thing with that if you'd like.

About This Character: Sooo Jack is a Nephilim, a half angel, half human hybrid. And his dad is Lucifer. :|b Despite that, he's actually really sweet and wants nothing more than to be good. He's still learning how to act around others, and can seem a little awkward. But he's trying his best!
Any Warnings: Again, son of Lucifer. He has periods where he feels really crappy about himself, and that may come out in tags. Also, CW that his mother did attempt suicide before he was born. So there's the potential of that being mentioned (as Jack was aware of a lot of what happened before he was born).

Present Life: He's still shiny and new, so there isn't much to say yet. He's trying to learn about the city, and more specifically, wanting to learn to be a hunter. He currently has...7 dads in the city. Two Sam's, two Castiel's, two Dean's, and one Lucifer. But he only really considers OU Sam and Castiel his parents. Lucifer is a dick so he doesn't count.
Future Ideas: I mostly want to get him out and doing stuff on his own. He's still trying to figure out who he is, so now's the ideal time to influence that? I plan on tossing him in to events, so anyone who wants exploring buddies, I'll be there. But beyond that, there's no set plans yet.

Day to Day Activities: Since the skeletons started showing up, he's ben collecting tissue samples and bringing them back to F.E.A.R. headquarters for analysis.

About This Character: The resident Evilutionary Biologist and Genius Bruiser turned Genetically Enhanced Super Soldier, who dresses like a fourteen year old guy who thinks The Matrix is the pinnacle of cinema (then again, if you could dodge bullets like you're teleporting, wouldn't you do the same?). Also given to being a double-triple-quadruple agent with his own self-preservation in mind.

Any Warnings: Opt in/Out and Permissions post A more extensive listing of the dark stuff in his canon can be found on his application. He's unlikely to bring much of it up except in passing, as he's hiding in plain sight as that weird but affable gent about town.

Present Life: Currently settling into a routine around the town, still doing his Hiding In Plain Sight thing, but that façade has started to crack thanks to how badly his first October went (getting blood drunk and monster-transforming into the natural progression of T-virus zombies will do that to you. Stooopid stubborn mutant....). Also likely to be found in the Flesh Falls sinkhole (let's say those Lickers make it feel almost like home), though he may put in appearances in the other two.

Future Ideas: He's come to the decision that he trusts Sodder about as far as he can throw her, and so he's likely to take sides with Mother Superior, via the mini-event. However, he's likely to regret that in the future....

CR You Want: I've long wanted this guy to find some innocent to corrupt (not *THAT* way, get yer mind outta the gutter!) in a "leading them to the dark side" way. Shouldn't be hard, given the way he's been projecting an air of affable but weird and dark.

Also, I'd be interested in a slow burn romance, with a lady who's either innocently oblivious or figures him out and decides to lure him onto a twilit path if leading him into the light isn't a viable option.

Future Ideas: After some set-backs, the goal is for him to be mostly clean when it comes to abusing harder drugs. I'd love for others to realize how much genuine physical pain he is in, as it affects a lot of his issues. He'll also try to establish a tactical ops branch in Fear after some establishing time.

About This Character: Little kid who is very excitable and loves playing and making friends! At least, appearance wise, as she's not actually human--she's a sentient painting that's been brought to life by... you know what, no one really knows, it could be magic or ghost shenanigans but either way, she used to live in a haunted art gallery with a bunch of other living paintings before she got here, so she's a bit ignorant on some things that most kids her age would probably know about. Managing rather well in Deerington all things considered, but then again, when you used to hang out with paintings that have tried to eat people, you kind of get used to certain things.
Any Warnings: Some threads may contain content warnings for child abandonment, or unsettling unchild-like behavior because Mary can and will threaten to stab someone if she thinks they are being too mean to her or acting as a danger to her happiness in this place.

Present Life: She's finally not living alone as she's moved in with Woody, Buzz, and Ritsuka, so she's got that going for her! She also befriended a Banette two months ago so in addition to her peculiar doll collection she's often accompanied by this spooky friend. Currently, she goes to school at Deerington Elementary and is always looking for new games and activities to here to pass the time.
Future Ideas: It's been a while since I did more with Mary's spooky painting status, I should find an opportunity to do that at some point like if I ever finally cause her to die here from direct contact with fire for too long... but otherwise I don't really have any big plans for anything set in stone right now!

As of late he's been hanging out in the potentially cursed treehouse from his canon that showed up in his backyard, living that teenage stoner life. When he's not there, he can often be found wandering the woods by his house, hanging out at Lake Tomie, and over at Luna Lovegood's place. ➸ About This Character: Stressed, depressed, and demonically possessed. Peter is your average teenage vessel for an ancient demon that was "handed down" through his family via botched possession attempts and finally successfully placed into the 'correct' host (Peter ♥) by a cult just prior to his arrival in Deerington. Said demon is a goetic king of Hell who specialises in knowledge, known as Paimon (Pay-mun). Peter is.... mostly like a six-foot-tall twitchy spider: he just wants to stay hidden in the shadows, a little scary but mostly harmless to others.... He's more than a bit gloomy, but incredibly shy, soft, and dangerously vulnerable on the inside, a product of growing up through unhealthy family dysfunction and the drawn-out process of being progressively weakened in order to meet his "fate" of successfully inheriting Paimon. The relationships he's formed in Deerington have given him a chance to slowly heal in some ways, but he'll probably always be a nervous wreck who starts panicking if someone like claps too loudly.

➸ Any Warnings: In particular, what will come up in my writing for this character is psychological, emotional, and physical distress related to demonic possession. There are details of that here, as well as the (many) other warnings from his canon. Emotional and psychological trauma, frequent anxiety/panic attacks, and familial death are also big themes that are frequently present in this character. Peter is also often physically ill as a result of his possession (fatigue, cold sweats, fevers, etc).

➸ Present Life: Trying to get through Senior Year, dealing with the fallout of October, trying to adjust to living with a demon that unfortunately seems destined to be a permanent fixture in his life and the effects of that on his close ones here.... Inbetween all of that, being allowed some little moments to dip more deeply into his budding romance with Luna; they've even shared a first kiss a couple of months ago. The hopelessness of his demon situation is a weight that seems to be getting heavier and heavier these days, but Peter's also well-aware of the precious things and people in his life here, and those help keep him grounded. Speaking of, Paimon's been growing stronger now that he has a stabilising gem, and has also been making connections with more people and other supernatural entities.

➸ Future Ideas: I'd love to branch out to some new CR, as Peter has lost quite a bit of his over time. I'm also very interested in reconnecting with faces he's bumped into in the past and hasn't seen again in awhile, strengthening existing relationships, etc. As mentioned, I'd love to think about getting him a little job somewhere. I'm also slowly plotting his first death here in Deerington and how it will affect Paimon, so that's a thing that'll be coming up soon, if anyone might want to be involved there. 👀

➸ CR You Want: Fellow Horror Canon peeps, anyone with supernatural themes or experiences, people with connections to demons of various lore / demonology / magic-practitioners / witchcraft / etc. Classmates and teachers to deal with his spooky haunted butt on a regular basis, younger teens and kids for him to Sadly and Guiltily Big Brother... Others around his age to awkwardly try to Teen With. I also love to throw two people together and see what unveils, so I'm forever here to experiment.

In general, I'm very interested in psychological-focused situations. I like to dig deep and slowly unravel things, so I'm forever here for emotional things or exploring character traumas, themes of anxiety, depression, etc. Hurt / comfort opportunities are also always on the table for this one.

Negative or conflicted feelings in others would be great as well, given Peter (and his demon) are... pretty eerie, to be honest? I'd love to play around with more people being creeped out by Peter, or those who don't take well to what's inside of him for various reasons. Themes of "what makes someone ~evil" and whatnot are also my jam; Peter is consistently sort of juggling the concept that having a demon inside of him makes him "bad" or "tainted". He (and Paimon) are also extremely vulnerable, so there's definitely potential for manipulation or negative influence on one or both of them, there!

Interactions / CR with Paimon is also always something I'm interested in exploring. Fellow supernatural beings or those possessed by various entities, those with magic or powers that he'd be drawn to, people for him to form demon-"summoner" relationships with, fellow seekers of knowledge.... The demon king runs a wide spectrum of possibilities; he can be an antagonistic presence for sure, but I'm very interested in "de-villainising" him, as well. Paimon essentially functions as a djinn/genie; he's meant to grant "wishes", so I'd absolutely love to play around with this.

➸ CR You Don't Want: Romance, given he's pretty smitten for a baby witch. I'm totally fine with crushes on him if something like that were to happen, but anything like that would be one-sided. I'm also not really a fan of senseless confrontation; negative CR is MORE than welcomed, but I'd like to explore the nuances of it instead of just have someone slam Peter for no reason and with no follow-up.

Day to Day Activities: Glitch has forgone school and is usually able to caught around town. There's a chance to catch him in the library a lot. He's taken up morning jogging so he's up super early. He frequents the Rec center to train too. He can also be found every now and then wandering around town finding places to hide and practice guitar.

About This Character:Glitch in the long and short of it is a gremlin child. Pretty stand offish, rude and probably sounds super aggressive when you meet him. Wants to be self reliant but is pretty realistic in terms of making allies for survival's sake. Though his good points are he's extremely loyal and is willing to protect the few people he considers friends.

Background wise Glitch grew up in a thing called The Dome to protect the last bits of humanity for a supposed nuclear apocalypse. Children, teens and adults are separated between different domes and are raised apart from one another. Glitch's upbringing was particularly rough in the Teen dome for the long work hours and how little there was to eat. So, he pretty much broke the rules with a bunch of other kids and participated in an illegal fight club to earn extra food tickets. Plot twist though, the domes are made to contain the super powered population of the world and the whole end of the world thing is made up to keep people from leaving.

Dealing with Glitch means dealing with a very particular sassy, rude teen who has been experiencing a lot of new things in Deerington. Expect a lot of weird questions what a guitar is or what sweets are, something akin to that. If you want to know more my App goes more into depth of his world, history and personality.

Any Warnings:Child abuse, previous injuries and mild cases of starvation are something that can be mentioned sometimes. Also he swears a lot, like a lot.


Present Life:
Glitch is currently dealing with a lot of the aftermath of October that happened. With accidentally causing Fern's death, Seeing Varian lose a leg, Clover his effective adoptee father and everyone else he knows either dying, maimed or traumatized around him, he's dealing with some guilt and depression there. Since he got out at least on the whole mostly unscathed he's probably gonna deal with some survivor's guilt or the fact he wasn't there to keep people he cared about uninjured.

He'll be dealing with all of this in the Glitch way; not addressing it at all.

Otherwise, he's gotten a whole bunch of stuff from his basket and friends that he's going to be using and working with ie, a sword from Fern that he actually has to learn to use and a buzzsaw shield Ruby is gonna make for him. The sword will be made even better with a little keychain thing that'll turn it into a laser sword so. Time to destroy property.

Future Ideas: Nothing super big planned right now outside of come December Glitch is eating cursed chocolate he got in his basket and turning into a kid for a week. So. Some feel goods there.

CR You Want: Found Family: What better way to learn how much you missed out on when you get a bunch of people to be like family. Gimme your moms, dads, weird aunts and uncles, and all them sibling and cousin type figures. In return you get what angry boy who will fight for you. He's already getting a dad out of Clover but I'm not against more dads.

Friendships: Time for him to develop meaningful relationships that don't depend on survival or feeling like you owe somebody. Give this boy a friend.

Romance?: Not for a long time yet, but Glitch has a crush on Hunk Garrett right now. It's totally one sided on his end.

Training: He's quick, he's grace, he'll kick you in the face. While Glitch is pretty quick on his feet he's got poor upper body strength and he could actually use some real training with hand to hand combat. So, I'm down for trainers. He's picked up throwing knives so anything to do with that could be fun. Really, weapon focused stuff is also good too.

Day to Day Activities: She's still trying to get used to things here so at most she is probably exploring when she can while lowkey being a loser who has been journaling and writing notes about her time here so far, doodling in her sketchbook and having daily conversation to her friends with a radio that does not work. You know, in between dealing with the shenanigans that happen in this place.

About This Character: Clarke was born in space and thrown into post apocalyptic Earth where she soon takes on the the role of being one of the leaders of the delinquents. She is the medic of the group once they are on the ground and she tries her hardest to keep her people safe and circumvent wars between the Grounders or any other threat constantly trying to survive. She can be a bit standoff-ish, way too serious for her own good and most of the time she can come across like a bossy know it all without realizing since she comes across as very authoritative with the confidence to match. Clarke does have some trust, self loathing issues and a huge guilt complex going on but she's loyal and stubborn to a fault while being pretty selfless when it comes to protecting her people and those she considers to be her friends.

Any Warnings: Death, loss, murder, torture, suicide ideation, violence, survivor's guilt, PTSD, paranoia, etc. Much of this won't really even come up aside from the occasional introspect because her canon is a disaster.

Present Life: Clarke survived Praimfaya (aka apocalpyse 2.0) !! because Nightblood is a thing which actually worked so she didn't die like she thought she was going to. The down side is that being she was the last person left on Earth so she has been living in isolation and trying to do her best to survive so with ending up in Deerington, it honestly feels like a fever dream to her so between being new here and all, she is she tries to get used to being around people existing again and how things are so much different here with what's available compared to things back home. She's very suspicious of all this and has been trying to focus on figuring it out since she doesn't really buy any of this.

For this event, I didn't get the chance to hit up the plotting post but I'm definitely tossing her into this for exploring all over the place so if anyone wants to buddy up with her for this, let's do it!!

Future Ideas: I would love to have Clarke get to the point where she starts opening up to and start to trust people more over her time here so right now my plans just involve building up her CR and seeing where that goes.

Additionally she has Sodder's Ring in the raffle a few months ago and something I want to play around with is the fact she can now be invisible when/if she uses it and the additional effects from wearing it which include being able to pick up thoughts + impressions of memories for people nearby because I think it could be a fun cr opportunity! However, she has a very tough and intense look that makes most see her as a delinquent when she doesn't have Usagi hanging around her. She's a bit taller than most her age in Japan, and is a lot stronger than she appears with pretty good reflexes and instinct for danger. She can be kind of hardheaded and quick-tempered, jumping into a fight quickly to defend someone or to put a bully into place.
Any Warnings: Makoto is an orphan who lost her parents in a plane crash. Though she's not likely to bring this up.

She's extremely athletic, and a bright ray of sunshine compared to most.

Jubilee has also recently been canon updated and is now both a Vampire and an adoptive mother of a bouncing baby boy named Shogo. Who she misses very much.

Any Warnings: Jubilee is an orphan who has experienced extreme alienation and outright racism both as a Chinese American in the United States and in China, as well as because she is a Mutant. About This Character: For starters, Rei is a typically quiet, somewhat reserved young woman with an almost aristocratic air of peace and elegance around her. She rarely raises her voice and tends to communicate some feelings more with facial expressions than words alone. She is the child of a powerful politician who more or less abandoned her, and she didn't really have friends until she was 14, and those were people who were more or less tied to her soul by destiny, so her first time in Deerington (about 1 year ago, and she has her memories of that time.) was an experience in making new connections. She tends to dress in more traditional Japanese clothing, favoring hakama and the like, so she stands out pretty starkly.

She's kind, though she has little patience for the kinds of people that waste her time, men in particular she gives short shrift too. In a crisis, she responds decisively and boldly, often transforming into her magical martian alter ego, Sailor Mars. In those kinds of situations she'll fight with the singular goal of completely destroying whatever it is that's causing her problems. She's also psychic, and accompanied by 2 crows at nearly all times!

Any Warnings: Rei is the victim of emotional abandonment by a parental figure, and she herself can lay on some casual misandry fairly thick. She's also prone to acts of extreme violence involving fire if conflict happens, and is fairly matter of fact about death, particularly her own.

Present Life: Rei is mostly dealing with the emotional trauma of October. She had to kill Usagi, and was one of the two survivors of October out of her cast, and she is only now bouncing back from her girlfriend vanishing.

Future Ideas: I'm interested in Rei working more with the plot than she has previously, as she's been around for a while. She's been doing all the memory events and currently has an open top level for the Moon Presence.

About This Character: Magical prodigy, hates being called a prodigy, works herself to the bone. Intensely intelligent and serious, sometimes has strong opinions that rub people the wrong way. Her opinions are usually meant to improve the people around her - but of course nobody ever asked for that. Youngest student ever accepted into the Officers Academy at age 15, parallels her current status in the university in town. Despises being condescended or looked down upon or otherwise treated like a child, to an extent that this is her most childish trait. Has an extremely horrific backstory which I will warn for below. Lysithea is passionate about all things intellectual and magical and also about sugar.

Any Warnings: Warnings for: child abuse, child death, human experimentation.

At age 2, Lysithea, her siblings, and other members of her family who were below the age of ten or so were kidnapped by dark mages and experimented on. Everyone who was not Lysithea died. The experiment succeeded in Lysithea to an extent, but she will die in about 10 years due to the side-effects. Lysithea has accepted this and will talk about it to close friends. The town recently gave her a gift of logbook documenting the experiments performed on her and her family, which drove her into a spiraling madness. On the plus side, she's somewhat more blase about dealing with horrors given she's already gone through some pretty dark times.

Present Life: Mentally recovering from October. Pushing herself into her studies further, pushing herself to become stronger. Lysithea is likely to be practicing her magic more often now that she's received a Stabilization Gem. Has recently made some kind of deal with a Giant Pigeon to teach him magic in exchange for learning medicine and science.

Future Ideas: Hm... I'd like Lysithea to pick up on more skills/techniques. She's keen on learning Everything. ...Does anyone want to teach her baking? At some point, Lysithea will be learning Abraxas and Hades, pretty much the most powerful spells in Fodlan. Also at some point, her recurring Mismagius rival from September will make a reappearance. I'd also like her to die at some point but probably not this month.

CR You Want: Lysithea is a little stand-offish! She's friendly with everyone but she doesn't actively try to get closer to people on her own. The tl;dr is that Syaoran's the descendant of a powerful magican and next head of his clan, and acted the Designated Ice-King Magical Rival in his series until he got a blow to the feels and fell in love with his rival and became Designated Boyfriend instead. Oops. He starts the series as a grumpy, aloof, jerk-ish kid, but becomes a lot softer, nicer and attentive as time goes on, and overall he's a generally kind kid and good bean who's incredibly honest and straightforward! He sort of comes across as an old guy in a kid's body with how serious and mature he is, but he's also stupidly gullible and innocent and would probably fall for any bullshit story should anyone feed him one. (He also flusters and blushes more than the actual heroine of this shoujo series, so--) He also stresses a ton about people he cares about/those close to him and tends to get very protective of them, and OCTOBER HAS DONE NOTHING TO HELP WITH THAT

Present Life: I just put up a recent log for him here (cw: bullying in one of the prompts)! October wound up thoroughly messing Syaoran up, physically, emotionally and mentally, so he's been doing his best to move on from what happened... although that's kind of hard considering he attacked a bunch of people, one of which being his girlfriend, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ He's better than he was during the immediate aftermath of it all, but he's still dealing with lingering guilt and trauma (and also a broken leg), so it's going to leave him pretty awkward and tense around anyone who might have been directly involved in it. He's probably NOT going to want to talk about it unless it's close CR/someone prompts him about it, though it'll probably help later down the line to get it off his back.

Sakura is also randomly creating cards again since her power is mostly back to normal, and that's been a BIG source of stress for him back home, so... he's not really too thrilled by this new development!! At all!! But he'll be doing his best to help her with them and make sure nothing too crazy happens because of it, though rest assured he is probably going to be screaming internally the whole time, sobs

Future Ideas:

- Sometime down the line, he's going to help Dipper and Ritsuka create a Secret Sleeper Club for any Deerington residents in middle school/high school! Basically it'll be something like a Room of Requirement for school-age Sleepers to go to for support/getting away from the shitty Townie school kids, and he's going to wind up using the Illusion card to keep it away from any prying eyes. I'll leave it to Jami to go into the rest since it's mainly their idea, but it's something planned and in the works!

- Now that he's regained his Stability Stone, he's probably going to want to practice with his renewed magic and see what limits he still has in this place (since after the whole incident with the incense, he's not going to go without testing things again), so if anyone wants to be a future magic sparring partner, hmu!

Present Life: Right now, Mike's in recovery mode from everything that happened between August and October. Several people from home just showed back up, and he's also made the decision to do something about his shitty mental health, so that's where he is this month, laying low. As luck would have it, I have two 17 year olds to offer you.

Of the two, Bolin is probably the easier one to befriend. He's happy and loud and will generally talk to anyone at all times. He's also prone to crushing on people at the drop of a hat, so that could be entertaining to work with at some point.

Pidge is... not as easy to chat up unless you catch her in a good mood. She's also a CRAU, so she's a bit less of a reclusive gremlin as a result of that. She's currently living with the other Voltrons in a fancy mouse-shaped house, with more animals and robotic lions than any one household should possess. Sleep is not something she does often, and she tends to wander the town so she could hypothetically be found pretty much anywhere.

Day to Day Activities: Trolling folks on the network, doing magic stuff, scavenging for fun trash in the junkyard

About This Character: Eda is an outcast, and proud of it. In canon, she lives with two demons (one who she created, and one who's her roommate) and a kid who was a weirdo in the Human World. Eda is a witch, and went against her world's rules that each witch can only do one kind of magic. Eda does All the Magicks, and is a bit crunchy about it, since she likes the Old Ways, with magic coming from the land.

She's a mentor, but the kind of mentor who can let you get away with just about anything. She has very grey morals, and an every-witch-for-herself attitude unless she likes you.

Any Warnings: She's got a curse, but she's from a Disney Channel show so.

Present Life: Eda is going to start her own business next month: Eda's Oddities (the probable name, but I'm open to suggestions). She will sell garbage she finds around Deerington, advertising it as priceless treasures. Maybe she'll enchant some of it, but, really, it's trash.

She's currently getting over the Deathflu, and will be better by December, but for now she's just texting everyone she knows with stupid jokes and butting into people's personal lives on the Network. It's like a great, live soap opera.

She has a lot of friends with kids, and I'm open to more. Want a mentor who will let you get away with anything? An older woman in your life to give you life advice and then ask you to be a guinea pig for a potion with unknown side effects? The Eda's your gal!

CR You Want: More kids to mentor! People to let into her cold heart. Animal friends! Adults who are children at heart! People who like rules so much that Eda can hate! She has a sad, empty house right now. If any kid or outcast needs a roomie, open to figuring that out. OTA, really

Day to Day Activities: Exploring, saving sleepers from their own hubris, walking Naga, her giant polar bear dog

About This Character: Korra is the Avatar, and is over powered beyond belief, particularly now that she figured out the summoning stones and has her full power back. Aside from that, she's a hot headed protag who runs into situations too quickly, but has been tempered by her experiences.
Any Warnings: Korra has experience with PTSD, which might come up sometimes

Present Life: Korra's hanging out with her canon-bffs Mako and Bolin, and Naga, at their shared house together. She's going on a date with Rei this month, and figuring out some spirit-y stuff with Vyng.
