Character Name: Atsushi Nakajima
Age: 18
Employment in Deerington: Hart Mart as a cashier. Interested in community college, but needs a kick to actually apply.
Residence in Deerington: Lives with Usagi Tsukino and Makoto Kino in that Really Pink House.
Day to Day Activities: He died in October, so he will spend most of November being sick and useless. Atsushi is a people pleaser and lets other people dictate his daily activities. Sometimes he'll be focused on work around the house, others he will be delivering supplies to people or checking up on friends. If someone has a favor to ask, he'll drop everything to do it.

About This Character: Atsushi is a well meaning person, who is generally conflict avoidant and socially timid. He has a snarky streak, but will put a lid on it to pass in social situations. He's also a bit short tempered at times, prone to holding grudges (he's looking at you, Mother Superior,) and has an unhealthy hero complex. He's someone who can be tossed around and beaten, emotionally and physically, and will always rise up. Even if you take off his leg, stab him like a pin cushion, or destroy what very little self esteem he has left.

His 'Ability' is called Beast Beneath the Moonlight and it allows Atsushi to become part tiger and wreck shit. He can also generate from nearly any wound (he pops his severed leg back on at one point,) and has cat-like senses.
Any Warnings: Child Abuse/Neglect, both physical and psychological, as well as what might be PTSD (audio and visual hallucinations.) The orphanage he grew up in abused him horribly, including warnings like near drowning and electrocution. However, Atsushi and his prose rarely bring these up.

Present Life: Sooo death sucked. But he's really glad that it wasn't permanent. Atsushi is privately angry at himself for letting so many of his friends get hurt/killed and handling that self loathing really well. ~~He's not. He feels like he needs to earn his revived life somehow.~~ Looking for any way to make up for it. Also, trying to learn to bake a birthday cake for Makoto. He's been learning to rely on his friends more, but continues to screw that up too.

He still thinks that he turns into a tiger under the full moon. I've kept this misunderstanding going for five months and I'd like my sixth month card punch, please.

Lastly, Atsushi is in a depressing situation where he has now spent more time in Deerington than his new home of Yokohama. He isn't sure how to feel about some of his CR being closer to him than the people back 'home.' If he can even call Yokohama home anymore.
Future Ideas: I'd like for Atsushi to enroll at the community college! Horror-wise, I'd like to eventually have him open up about the orphanage and begin unpacking the burden of his past. I'd also like for him to lose his leg at some point.

Character Name: Madoka (Kaname) the Law of the Cycle
Age: 14 / Infinite
Employment in Deerington: Middle School (8th grade)
Residence in Deerington: With Homura Akemi!
Day to Day Activities: Madoka goes to and from school during the day, then patrols the town from sunset until late evening. She is happy to lend a hand to anyone in need and tries to establish herself as a helpful magical girl.

About This Character: Madoka here comes from the end of the Anime canon, meaning she was wiped her existence and become god. Kinda. She was once a normal fourteen year old girl, who didn't stand out much beyond the karmic destiny forced upon her (thnx, homura,) and longed to be helpful. Now, Madoka has overhauled the grimdark magical girl system of her home and become an omnipotent being.

In Deerington, Madoka is generally stuck in her 'mortal' form. She chooses optimism when she can, but is no stranger to grief and not about to force anyone to bottle up their feelings! Madoka is considered an embodiment of hope by end series, and it's an accurate comparison: She can see the bad in the world and she understands that horrible things might be reality, but that doesn't mean she won't believe in goodness!
Any Warnings: Nothing major for Madoka personally. Her canon has characters with suicidal ideation, self harm (their bodies don't necessarily feel pain,) and general dark concepts.

Present Life: Madoka joined the Deer party in October and yowzers was that ever a thing. She's quite shaken by everything that happened in October, but doing her best to settle into her new 'normal.' She is enjoying her flesh and blood existence and excited to eat food again! She's also very troubled by how heavily warped her abilities are and looking to change that.
Future Ideas: ~~One day, W I T C H.~~ I'd like to play just a smidge with the horror of Madoka's conceptual existence. One of her power warps causes her to disappear if she uses too much of her magic and I'd like to use that eventually.

Otherwise... She's here to be surprisingly mature for a fourteen year old girl.
