OOC INTRODUCTION POST
Hello, deers. As you know, we were debating on how to handle OOC introductions into the game once players have been accepted. It seems that the general consensus among most of the players who spoke up was in favor of a singular OOC Introduction Post. We will proceed with this method of providing a singular platform for players to introduce themselves in so as to save the OOC community from being cluttered.
The OOC Intro Post will be put up at the very end of the application cycle so that everyone accepted into the game can introduce themselves at the same time. Thank you everyone for your helpful feedback!
GAME MEMES
A few people also inquired about game memes such as Character Relations memes. We plan on holding CR memes at the end of each month as a way for players to be able to plot with one another and reach out for CR they might be interested in.
As for memes such as the heart-meter memes and other such things, players are more than welcome to post them to the OOC community. All we ask is that you check to make sure the meme your posting hasn't been posted within a month. If someone would like to take on this particular responsibility, you're more than welcome to take lead and we can make adjustments to this announcement to declare that someone has volunteered to be in charge of handling these other memes.
THE DOG KEEPER
Another NPC journal has been created for the game! This is

thedogkeeper. The Dog Keeper is the NPC who writes the articles that can be found in the Deerington Post that is hand-delivered to characters through the Delivery Dogs. Not much is known about the Dog Keeper, because of course there isn't. The Dog Keeper will deliver newspaper to characters through event posts, as you've already experienced, but will also do IC updates on the deerFeed network. Characters can ask IC questions to the Dog Keeper themselves on these deerFeed posts(though they may not have very specific answers) or characters may talk among themselves on the posts the Dog Keeper makes. This also provides an opportunity for other IC consequences to be carried out that might not be large enough to warrant an event, but may still be engaged with through characters who might be interested in having more to do in Deerington.Similarly, this journal was made for any mass deliveries the Dog Keeper may make in game- beyond the usual newspapers.
