Event Ideas:
Hah. Ok, so I'm definitely not doing a Top level with Larxene this month unless it's requested, but I'm actively hurling her at any top levels of Kingdom Hearts castmates. However, that said, if you three want me to I'll pop a top level down if you're wanting some time with her.

For everyone else, I'm planning on tossing her at other people's prompts. She'll be actively interested in the ghost appearances and generally having fun with Goosebump level horror. No, seriously, expect her to be laughing and not taking any of this shit seriously. She's going to think this is fun.

No deaths this month for Larxene. Nice n simple. Let's just have a cheesy romp because we know what October's gonna be like.

For this interested in aggressive Kingdom hearts/Disney Fourth Wall elements - Larxene recently became aware of the Disney Channel's existence and is officially freaking out rather publicly.

Lysithea | Fire Emblem Three Houses

Event Ideas:
1. Lysithea hates ghosts. As these things tend to go, that means she'll be a positive ghost magnet. Lysithea will probably spend the first few days of this event tripping over ghosts everywhere she goes until she's curled up in a ball somewhere hiding in a closet, which will go great until she realizes that the discarded doll in a corner is a Banette. She might need some gentle assistance getting over her phobia. If things go really well (badly?), maybe a ghost will find her screaming so entertaining that they'll haunt her forever...

2. I've only read a few Goosebumps, but I fondly remember the plot of Let's Get Invisible if anyone wants to play with an evil mirror world.

3. I'm up for having Lysithea wander into the graveyard in search of The Truth, though being pretty new, she might not be able to make it to the grave without some assistance. She certainly won't be expecting a three day walk and very possibly might need help/rescue.

Ozpin will not be reading Goosebumps books or playing roller derby, but he WILL be meeting and befriending a Spiritomb! This terrifying blaze of trapped souls will be hanging out with him everywhere, even in class at the high school.

He's also open for Prelude-based prompts, like Quiet monsters and Sirenheads.

Generally, he'll be settling into teaching at the high school (good luck surviving Shonen PE, kids) and adjusting to Deerington.

Carlos / Welcome to Night Vale & Gee / Changeling: the Lost

+ People with R.L. Stine books come this way! Gee works at the bookstore, so it could be fun to run into people who are picking them up/having trouble with them/realizing they are dangerous. Gee will start offering to take them if anyone wants to get rid of one.

+ Someone go rolling blading with him! He'll be curious about it and he might even try going on his own. I'd love for Gee to start turning into a doll for this event, maybe a creepy art manikin.

+ I absolutely want to do something with the mini-event if anyone would be interested in accompanying Gee on that particular journey

+ Also here for prelude stuff, particularly the ghostly lanterns.

Desired CR: anyone in F.E.A.R., other science-types/nerds/researchers, people that want to understand and explore Deerington's phenomena. Everyone, really.

Event Ideas:

+ Carlos will certainly be going to a double-feature with Cecil and they will probably be bringing something from the screen out. Thoughts include Billy Butcherson the zombie and Binx the cat.

+ Frankenstein monster or insect monster anyone? Carlos would totally go rollerblading and I wouldn't mind him having to deal with another weird transformation. He's already been a doll.

+ He will absolutely want to study the pokemon. Do you have one that follows you around? Would you be willing to let him look at it and possibly ask it questions? He might even end up with one of his own.

Jon's a FEAR researcher! He has basically commandeered the entire library/archive of past threats, with Sasha gently shepherding him into doing actual proper archiving work. Carlos could get into FEAR (and even a researcher position) through Jon or Sasha.

Oz will have a Spiritomb following him at all times! They can meet through that.

Pokemon

In Whoniverse, ghosts aren't real or rather what we usually think of when we think of ghosts.

Rather, ghosts in Who canon are either;

A) A being transcending to a higher plane of existence
B) That transcending being trying to cross over into another dimension

Also, The Doctor is a psychic/telepathic with his canon abilities. Those who know Pokemon, know what this means.

Would be interesting if, The Doctor could befriend one of the ghost Pokemon.

Mini-Event

Last November, the Moon Presence came and The Doctor couldn't do what he wanted too then. Which was send the Moon Presence free. On-top of not having any canon abilities. Including no sonic screwdriver that worked. Gwen Poole sacrificed herself to save The Doctor.

This would be a good way for Ten to recover from some trauma. With setting the Moon Presence free.

- ROLLER DERBY, I have a pre-event prompt up in my catch-all but if you'd like to handwave and go straight to monstery stuff that's cool. I haven't chosen a monster for Raven yet but needless to say, she'll be ruthless and she appreciates that same trait in others.
- I'm more interested in getting involved in the mini-event. Raven's gonna kill Cynthia so, anyone who would like to join in on that or play something out in the creepy resting place with someone whose solution to every problem is "stab it and then hide"
- Pokemon? Pokemon. Raven is getting an Alolan Marowak and will be very confused about it. She isn't used to being nurturing, pls help

OOC Limits: Usagi is currently injured (though she'll be completely healed by the end of the month only to then have to deal with October) so she can and will transform into Sailor Moon to help but she is limited when not Sailor Moon.

Event Ideas:
- Usagi is getting a Mimikyu because it's adorable and it just wants to be loved so she's going to hug it endlessly
- Serenity will be making an appearance to potentially help with Cynthia, one moon presence to another, as it were.
- Usagi MAY OR MAY NOT sleepwalk as Serenity depending on how strong the Moon Essence's pull is
- Usagi may or may not summon classic horror monsters like OG Dracula and Frankenstein thanks to her constantly watching them with Bella
- Sailor Moon is always here to help with any ghoulies or monsters summoned by someone.
- Usagi will be attending community college now! She will take all sorts of courses to try and figure out what the hell she actually enjoys.

Mako | The Legend of Korra

Desired CR: I'd love Mako to make some closer friendships (or enemy-ships I suppose) with people! He needs people to look out for, in general, so he's very open (though he doesn't know it) to sibling-style relationships like he's got with Korra and Bolin. Essentially, he's a natural caretaker (if more on the gruff "what are your life and what are your choices" end of that spectrum) so people to take care of are a+ for him.

Open to pretty much anything tbh.
Unwanted CR: Up for anything!

Event Ideas:
Definitely going to get Mako a Pokemon that'll follow him around. He's a little too new to, I think, know to interact with the more plot-heavy stuff, so I'll probably just keep him to the event stuff!

I WANT to get him to the Derby to transform but Mako Doesn't Do Fun on his own, so if anyone like... wants a buddy to try that out with, he might go as a sort of "let's make sure you don't die horribly in there" situation, that would be awesome.

He will also definitely be going to check out the movers (in color!! not starring his own brother in booty shorts!! what's not to like) so if anyone wants a buddy for that, Mako's your guy. He can be pretty charming when he feels like it.

And then last but not least, Mako is a very good detective and fairly skilled fighter (with, admittedly, messed-up powers) so if anyone wants to fight off some weird monsters, I personally have never read any Goosebumps book (I was an Animorphs kid) but am super down to do a thing like that. Nothing helps you make friends like almost getting murdered together, right?

Basically, I want to throw him into Deerington and get this recluse some friends, have a good time, build up some CR before October hits and everything explodes.

Hello! I am still mostly canonblind, but I'd love to get some CR with Mako? Atsushi is pretty cheerful, with a not-so-secret capacity for snark. I wasn't going to do a derby toplevel for him, but he would probably want to at least try skating. he spent the last 18 years in a bad orphanage and is doing a lot of stuff for the first time.

Syaoran Li | Cardcaptor Sakura

Unwanted CR: No romance, please! He's got Sakura, he's good in that department

Event Ideas:

Pokemon: He's going to get a Sensu-type Oricorio friend!! It's mostly going to chill on his shoulder or fly nearby, and maybe lead some of the pumpkin ghosts to dance with it?? idk, but it looks a lot like his mom, so clearly it needs to stick around him

Roller Derby: He might not willingly check it out himself, but if someone can drag him over and get him to participate (ideally with the Howlers) that would be amazing ;; Let him be the cute werewolf boy he's meant to be, okay

Movies: He's most definitely going to see the Beetlejuice/Hocus Pocus double feature with someone (possibly Sakura??) and then just... get plagued by this song (cw warning for weird shrimp hands) at the most inopportune moments and have everyone around him be forced to dance, because I am awful

Goosebumps/Mini-Event: I have nothing really planned for either of these, but if you want Syaoran involved in them, I'm game! His magic stems from the moon, so that might be interesting to play with re: whatever's going on with the Moon Presence stuff!

I haven't a clue how to get them to actually interact BUT I would love for Mako to meet Syaoran, there's a lot of both fire-power + older mentor stuff that could be super fun. He's already started talking to Sakura, so maybe... that... way? Either way, I would love to interact with him if you're down!

Possibly at the movies or I might have Mako accidentally summon a Goosebumps monster and have no idea how he did it so!

Fern | Adventure Time

Event Ideas:
-Fern will be acquiring a phantump and honedge. Thanks Deerington, he hates them.
-He'll be interested in the Goosebumps books from a cursed object perspective, since he used to be one.
-Open to any movie night stuff, he's good at fighting monsters.
-Absolutely down for throwing Fern at the mini-plot. For character development I'm leaning towards doing the non-fight ending (to reinforce to him that you don't always need to fight as a solution).
-Fern will also be suffering from the Great Sleep's dream confusion towards the latter half of the month, if anyone would like to deal with him when he's growing more unstable, hallucinating and so on. This can be incorporated into both event or non-event threads.

Event Ideas: OH MAN. okay. so i don't think ronan's going to personally be bringing out any r.l. stine characters, because he's not exactly a huge reader at the best of times anyway. however, he'll be happy(??) to help people destroy monsters if necessary, or like.. get people out of dangerous situations.. he's also used to dream logic, so he'll be quick to insist on that rumor of rewriting the ending of the book, because it makes sense in a dream.

for the pokemon event, i'm so!! excited!! ronan's gonna be turning his property into a working farm just like his family home back in his world, so tbh is there a better way to start it than by collecting a few ghost pokemon.. be the goth farmer u were born to be, ronan lynch. anyway, he'll wind up with a duskull that will probably not get along with chainsaw and possibly a lampent he'll insist earn its keep by helping out the lighting situation at night around the farm. he'll also take any that people don't want hanging around after the event, because he's stupid and soft for living dream things. see: his dream daughter, baby brother, and pet raven.

for the roller-blading prompt.. i think he'll probably just be there to support blue and scream for her to take the other skaters down. and also think she looks badass as whatever monster she ends up as. run.. into him here???

THE DRIVE-IN THO. ronan's a dreamer!! manifesting monsters from his nightmares is seriously old-hat for him, and he is accustomed to fighting, killing, and burying them. want help dealing with yours? he's your guy. these aren't even that bad, etc etc.

i also think i kind of want to do something with the mini-event (ronan has some hang-ups about his mom, and the idea of non-human mothers in general, probably), but i'm not quite sure what yet. if anyone wants to do something with him here.. hmu.

Desired CR: he just arrived, so i'm open to anything! someone who can help calm him down a bit would be ideal, or force him to have a little fun, since he'll never do that on his own. he'll probably hate it but it's worth a try.

Event Ideas: i'd like for him to be involved in some ghost hauntings, either by being haunted himself or by helping out someone else that's being haunted. he desperately needs things to do, and this would be a great way to get his mind off of what's bothering him. pumpkin/lantern ghosts or pokemon are both options: with the former, he'll probably be haunted by the spirit of valjean or his mother.

he won't go into the roller emporium unless someone bullies him into it. but he'll definitely be checking out the drive-in movie theater, since he's never seen a movie before and he's curious. he'll be a little more calmer than usual, and perhaps a little more talkactive if you want an easy way to get to know him. i'm open to aphro/flirting prompts, too, preferably with older male characters, though javert will likely run away before anything happens. in either scenario, he'll be pretty cross with himself afterwards for dropping his guard so much.

also open to monster fighting as well if there's a movie monster following someone home.

Unwanted CR: Romance is somewhat off the table-ish: he maaay have popped the Question to 10 and they maaay be planning a small commitment ceremony (Nothing huge, just close friends).

Event Ideas:

Goosebumps Jack may have to channel his inner "Howard from Providence", since I suspect he'll pick one up for a lark.

Ghost Pokemon: Likely to be luring some into Torchwood Tech (If there aren't some already in there) to add to the atmosphere along with the Halloween-themed light-up figures and things he's got in the shop window.

Roller Derby: Def. taking part and ending up as a werewolf (Yes, I'm running with a dog/wolf theme with this guy, since he's loyal like a dog).

Mini-Even: Def. taking part in this, if someone needs back up as they go in, even someone new to him or new to the town.

Ford Pines | Gravity Falls

Desired CR: Ford's still new here, so anything! But in particular, I'd love to toss him against any other scientist, paranormal investigator, or nerdy types, as well people that are visibly not-humman! Ford is practically fearless when it comes to the strange and the supernatural, so he'll be great for any characters with especially disturbing appearances. I'm fine with this CR going in any possible direction; Ford can be incredibly off-putting in his nosiness or incredibly charming in his enthusiasm, so go nuts.

Event Ideas:
Pokemon: Ford is going to be all about these weird little ghost critters. While I'm only going to have him befriend a Litwick or Pumpkaboo (maybe both, we'll see), he'll be intent on chasing down and asking questions of anyone that gets a hold of a different Pokemon.

Roller Derby: Ford doesn't care about roller derby, but he does care about trying out weird artifacts with the potential to kill or physiologically scar himself and everyone around him. Ford will be trying on as many roller skates as he can (and will get a hold of slime, doll, and vampire skates), and will once again have significant interest in talking with anyone that might get a different pair.

Movie Mania: Ford got the boot from his dimension in the early 80s and didn't come back for 30 years, so a lot of the films here will be very nostalgic for him. If you want something chill and SOL I'm game, but I'd also be interested in having him contend with creatures or events from several of these films. I've got ideas for most of the movies, but in particular I'd love to do something with Nightmare on Elm's Street, as Gravity Falls has a class of ghost referred to as the Dream Hispter (obviously, this would be a thread with a bit of humor to it).

Mini-Event: The "Cynthia's Resting Place" and "Sacrifice" prompts are going to be of enormous interest to Ford, so if you want an exploration or heart-planting buddy, he's your guy. In regards to the Sacrifice option, Ford will be non-hostile to Cynthia, and will actively oppose any attempts to harm her, so if you're looking to get yelled at by a nerdy old man then hit me up.

HI HELLO this is ochrona, I thirst for Ford CR, and I have several nerds to provide you! Pick any or all of the following:

Jon is a paranormal researcher who is very intently trying to solve the mysteries of Deerington. He's about to have an open log up with his mod-granted Story Clue, and I think that might be a good starting point for them! It'll involve a giant spooky monster to follow, for idiot men who do that sort of thing, which will lead them to new knowledge.

Giles is also a paranormal researcher, but he's got less... single-minded feral Ravenclaw energy. Much more a voice of reason. I need to look at the mini-event, maybe we could toss them together in that.

Lastly, Ozpin is headmaster of a magic school for magic kids; he doesn't ask a lot of questions about supernatural happenings. That said, he'll have a Spiritomb following him around, and won't mind a barrage of questions about his new terrifying-conglomerate-of-trapped-souls buddy.

OOC Limits: Probably something overly scary or action driven. Glitch has had it rough for the last two months so he's going to take it easy for the next bit 'til October. Just some light things.
Desired CR: Found family, more friends, other super powered people/mutant type people. Maybe some super heroes though he's likely to make comments on their costumes, he's done it before. Up for lots of positive Cr. Also up for negative cr and just for the characters to snark at.
Unwanted CR: Can't think of anything.

Event Ideas:
-Glitch will be just dealing with general ghost pokemon Shennanigans pulling pranks on him.
-He'll be going to Cynthia's grave and doing some miniplot things and play mediocre guitar. He will not be fighting the moon prescence so if he's planting hearts I'm tots down if he plants a memory of one of your characters.
-He might just be watching the roller derby in a morbid curiousity fascination but won't be putting on those cursed skates thanks.
-Movie Mania, I'm kind wanting to have a fun romp with the witches from Hocus Pocus giving chase. That'd be fun.
-I'm open to anything so feel free to drop in ideas.

Event Ideas: Jean's having a real shitty month so I'm mostly looking at tossing her into the mini event tbh. I'm planning to have her go in wearing her white and gold Phoenix costume as she's capable of healing herself and others when wearing that since ~white phoenix of the crown~ and all that. Phoenix did come out during the last mini event and tore apart The Father in her anger oops so I'm currently on the fence of doing the aggressive or non-aggressive option since I think bringing Phoenix out in the mini events might become a thing for having her interact with others. Ideally, Jean would probably want to go the peaceful route with wanting to learn whatever she can about Cynthia, Sodder, Mother Superior, etc.

I don't plan on having Jean do much with the main event itself because she's not in a great headspace for that, but if you really would like something with her/check on her or have some other idea, feel free to toss it at me and we can see about working something out! o/

- For the movies, he's down to watching the movies but won't be amused by the plot for most of them xD

• Pokemon: she already has a pet, so no new Pokemon for her, but down for shenanigans, helping other people with their Pokemon, having Naga (her pet polar bear dog) get into Pokemon battles


• A lot of Korra's threads have been pretty silly so far, so I'm open to something more serious/life threatening. If you have a character doing something stupid, or a big ol' monster to take down, she can help out.

Event Ideas: There's a chance I may do a separate log rather than a top-level on the event log. Here's what I've got-

- Gar will be on hand for helping to deal with Goosebumps monsters, Pokemon and maybe some of the drive-in monsters too! I don't have specifics in mind across the board, beyond leaning towards Gar befriending an Alolan Marowak.
- He will definitely be taking part of the roller derby! He'll end up going werewolf and get swept up in having fun.
- For the mini-event, he will go along with the option of helping the Moon Presence to plant hearts, as creepy as it is. Others are free to join him, and/or deliberate on what to do. Additionally, anyone can have blanket permission to view some of Gar's memories while planting hearts.
- I also want to play with stuff from the Prelude! Such as Gar feeling the effects from wind and also confronting ghosts from his world. And anyone else can feel free to encounter any of those ghosts in their own threads as well!

Orpheus | Hadestown

Desired CR: Orpheus is still getting established in Deerington, so I have to give the cop out answer and say I'm up for anything. One thing I'm specifically always looking for is characters who'd be willing to actually talk at him about the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice despite his discomfort, but other than that I'm really open to anything (except murder, yet).
Unwanted CR: Murder!!! Romance!! Also fourthwalling about the musical Hadestown

Event Ideas:

• I don't know shit about Goosebumps so I'll probably be tagging out for this one!
• Orpheus is going to be followed around by a Sensu-style Oricorio for the duration of this event!! He'll be calling her Aura and generally just being absolutely charmed by her and her dancing.
• Orpheus will be turning into a werewolf at the roller derby as well as immediately falling on his face the minute he tries to roller skate and as such will be spending most of his time on the sidelines cheering other people on with deafening howling. Very musical howling! But very loud. Enjoy that, everyone.
• I don't have any plans for movie night and will probably just tag around there!

Mini-Event:

• Currently the plan is to descend into Cynthia's grave with Ariadne, but if anyone else wants to do anything with Orpheus in the dream just let me know! He won't tolerate anyone trying to hurt the Moon Presence, but if you want to play out that conflict I'm all for it!
• People are free to see Orpheus's memories in the memory share portion of the dream. A few choice highlights could be: Playing the guitar in various places around Deerington, working at the diner, working at the bar in the railway town back home, composing music in his room above the bar, laughing with Eurydice, listening to Hermes tell stories, sitting on the deck of the Argo, etc. If you want more specifics or something I haven't listed here, just ask!!

As soon as the skeletons talk about playing music for Cynthia's grave, Nico would probably try to find Orpheus to go there if you would be down for him tagging along behind them? Because like why bring a pea shooter if you know where to find just the biggest gun

But either way he can definitely bring up the myth tbh!! he's had a lot of complicated feelings about it over the years and he's as tactful as a teenager so rip to Orpheus' comfort

I don’t have any concrete ideas for Goosbumps yet, but I know for a fact I want Blue to stumble upon one of the books and eventually start collecting/reading as many as she can before realizing the terror she’s causing. And I mean obsessively reading them EVERYWHERE. Most of the monsters will end up at the farm, but a few others might pop out elsewhere in town. She’ll definitely need help battling monsters she's pulling out and someone to tear the books from her hands. I’ve gotta brush up on my goosebumps monsters, but there will FOR SURE be a giant mantis.

In an attempt to fulfill her dreams of being a Pokemon trainer, Blue is going to be trying desperately to make a Marshadow like her enough to follow her back to the farm. And it will definitely do everything in its power to keep Blue from doing that. Feel free to run into her literally anywhere while she’s chasing down the little creature, offer her some advice cause she'll probably need it. And on the flip side of that, I also plan on having a Misdreavus torment poor Blue around everywhere she goes, so watch out for that too if you plan on running into her.

That brings us to Roller Derby. Blue is already trying to hone her rollerblading skills, so you can expect to see her and all her five feet of fury out there trying to knock people over double her size. She’ll be grabbing a set of blades that turn her into a jointed doll and a backup set (because every good athlete has backup equipment!) that turns her into a zombie. Come watch her play! Come watch her practice! Come look on in horror! Come bring her brains!

Blue will be stopping into the Drive-In to check out some of the movies, and to keep up with the theme of Blue Sargent's Misadventures with Monsters, she’ll have a few of them following her home and a lot more of the themes haunting her. I’d especially love to explore themes that’ll bring out angry/rage-filled side of her (So Psycho, Carrie and The Shining are all on the list of films she’ll be watching.). On the lighter side, I’m also up for anyone coming along to some of the showings with Blue, or running into her at one of them.

Goosebumps: Kurogane can help out with dealing with some of the monsters! He'll have read some of the books since he's seen them around so he won't mind helping others deal with them.

Pokemon: I haven't decided if I'll give him one just yet, but if I do it'll probably be Haunter or Gengar! Either way, the Pokemon will be pulling pranks and being a general nuisance.

Movie Mania: He'll be interested in a lot of the movies, so he'll definitely go with someone if they invite him! Kurogane can also help defend against whatever monsters might come from the movies.

Mini-Event: I am all here for other characters seeing his memories!

⯌ Atsushi will be haunted by a Rotom. Don't know if he'll keep it, but he'll certainly get trolled by it. Electronics around him will go haywire and he'll be kinda freaked out.

Movie Mania

⯌ Satou has an ability called 'empathy,' which allows her to sense the emotions of any being with a soul. This may be helpful with ghosts and Pokemon.

Goosebumps
⯌ Satou is secretly competitive, so The Beast from the East might be a fun monster for her. In this book, characters have to play tag or be eaten by a monster. Satou would help whoever she is paired with tag the monster.

Pokemon
⯌ Like Atsushi, Satou will be keeping 2 Pokemon max. I'm open to the Pokemon in her threads bonding to others.
⯌ Satou relates way too much to Mimikyu. She'll be hanging out with one/some and sewing little decorations for them. Come get accessories sewn by a magical girl!
⯌ She will find a weak lil'Dreepy and try to train with it. Training montage, go! She wants to build its confidence. A chance for light training and exercise with other characters?
⯌ Dealing with a Gengar, which haunts her shadow. At first, Satou will be really scared of the fact she can sense a soul around her at all times. After realizing it is Gengar, the pair will try to out prank each other. Satou would be mortified if someone else saw her pulling pranks.

Movie Mania
⯌ Satou will probably go to one screening, but get so scared that she has nightmares. She'll probably cry during a scary movie (or pretend not to,) and then be really jumpy on the walk home.
⯌ Having to deal with Hocus Pocus would be fun for Satou, since she herself is a witch. She'll try to pretend that she found the movie funny, but be really upset at how witches were portrayed.

Mini'Event
⯌ Satou will eventually be trying to visit Cynthia's grave. She may request back-up. She can fight long range or close combat, depending on what her partner is lacking.
⯌ She would help the Moon Presence plant hearts. If anyone tries to fight, Satou will want to stop them.
