Mod Post

(Apologies for making a mod post from my personal RP journal, but apparently you need a paid account to make a poll pls ignore)

Hello Deerlings! As many of you know, our October Prelude was posted earlier to help people with planning. Many players have appreciated the additional time and some have asked if the actual events could be posted ahead of their technical "start dates" - however we do not want players to feel overwhelmed with content either.

We would like to hear everyone's feedback on whether they think this would be helpful as a whole or if it would feel overwhelming.

The general idea would be that we post events ahead of their "start dates" as well as plotting posts so people could get their ideas and plans ready ahead of time rather than our current system where we post the event on the actual start date.

Let us know your thoughts and opinions in a comment below or vote on our poll!

I prefer our current system of how events are posted.
5 (7.9%)

A week+ ahead of "event start date" for all events.
38 (60.3%)

Only a week+ ahead of "event start date" for bigger events.
16 (25.4%)

I don't have a preference.

Yes, the event log posts would go up ahead of the start date with disabled comments. We would then turn the comments back on when the actual event start date occurs.

However, players would be allowed to post catch-alls to the log community if they wanted to get a jumpstart.
