The POINT is to get messed up and cut loose for a while.

Yes, Em, believe it or not, parties do exist even in my ye olde time period. I just don't really like them. There seems to be an excessive amount of people and I really only have the patience for a minimal amount of human interaction at any one time.

Like I said, the girl back home somehow had the energy to do this literally every night and I do NOT understand it, but, like. Sometimes it's not bad.
The drinking is unrelated. You can drink without partying.
