October Plotting Post : Part 2

OCTOBER PART 2 PLOT PLOTTING POST

All those who have signed up for the second part to the October Event may plot here! Sign-ups have since been closed and you can find all group listings here as well as some important information pertaining the event. The event is here.

Only characters who have been signed up may interact directly with this event. However, characters can still bring attention to what's going on to the rest of Deerington. That means you can still have a character make a network post about something they have discovered and characters who are not signed up may interact with it. But as far as the actual investigation and obtaining items go, make sure to stick to just those who have been signed up!

If you have any problems or questions, let us know!

Please make sure to plot thoroughly with your group here and make sure that no one gets left out and everyone is on the same page to have a good time!

It will be assumed that all items have been obtained and sacrificed by November 1st at the latest. Your characters do not need to do this exactly IC, but for the sake of game-wide consistency, it will be figured that they have accomplished the task by this date at the latest.

And ooh, I think Daemon'll nab Black Beauty, The Witch of Blackbird Pond, The Little Prince, and Lion, Witch, and Wardrobe. They seem...relevant to him, especially since they're not glitched.

I did volunteer JP to watch Darcy's back, because he lacks compassion so the contrast amuses me, but I am flexible if he'd be better utilized elsewhere. I 110% am down for him dealing with monster babies because it'll traumatise him a bit.

I mean. nothing at all?

the only problem I see for this is that it's the remains...bones don't break down from fire unless it's in a very high temperature. not only that, but it needs to be sustained, so if we could get to that temperature, what we have left for the guardians and the seers is a tower battle.

So...there ARE a couple of options for the remains. I know it is possible to melt bone, but I don't know how long it takes-it's a matter of getting the right compounds.

We could grind up the bone, but again, may take some time.

I mean. I guess EATING the bone is...a possible thing...sort of...

I should have a top level up for her tonight after tech, it's half written right now, but I don't think I'm gonna be able to get it done in the next 15 minutes (WE'LL SEE) otherwise I can hit Daemon up with her if that's easier!

Abigail comes from a pretty dark canon - her father was a serial killer who killed girls that looked like her at all the colleges she visited. Plus then dealing with Hannibal Lecter manipulating her - she's not in a good place.

They can definitely try to talk in the room.

I think the idea is a bunch of little ones with the reference being there so we're all aware what everyone else is doing and can write that into the background and such as necessary?

But also I feel Cable's revealing of the painting in his humongous rip would be a big enough deal to warrant a big group thread LMFAO, at least to have everyone's reactions all in one thread?? And the mystical unveiling????? I'm going to let the others know and ask :D

I'M LINKING ALL Y'ALL TO THIS COMMENT just so we can have everyone's replies to this in one place but!!

So Cable's going to use his badass technovirus arm to rip a huge chunk of wallpaper from the wall and expose the first part of the deer painting, and I was thinking that we could use this as our basis for "turning in" the piece of evidence we were supposed to get in this chapter?

It's not going to be a big action-y thread or anything, but people's reactions to the painting + discussion of taking a picture of it or something might be a good idea? But also, if you'd like to just handwave your character's reaction to it (like if it's just surprise or something, IDK) that's fine too!!

ALSO. Who are we saying will let the others know about what they found at the Mayor's House?
