A meme to pass the time!
How To Play:
1. Everyone is at a big party!
2. Post an IC comment with a subject that finishes the sentence "never have I ever".
3. If you see something your character has done, reply with them taking a shot! If they've done it many times, have them take many shots or down an entire bottle. Shots do not need to be alcohol, especially not for underage characters.
4. All characters must be honest. It's more fun that way.
5. Bother other people. Demand details. Don't wreck the house, please, and post warnings if things get 18+.

Final Farewell...For now!
A FOND FAREWELL FOR NOW
Hello for the last time for a while, Deerlings!As of July 1st, our game’s first chapter has officially ended. After this point, our game will be sandbox only. Communities will be left open so that our current players may continue to back tag things or start new threads (log or network) for the remaining months of Deerington’s existence (June, July, August respectively). The entire town will be gone by September and all characters will have either returned home or will be waking up in the new game.
We will not be processing any new requests this point forward. We will be processing waiting questions/requests in the meantime. We ask for a little patience as our head mod has been dealing with persistent health issues this month - but don't worry, we haven't forgotten about anyone!
Please follow our OOC community for updates on the new game! I hope to release the full game information well ahead of time so people can read through its information pages and start planning for the new chapter! Since I’m a workaholic you can anticipate seeing a release of the full game sooner rather than later.
At this time you are welcome to use old events, tag back on things you had missed, catch up on threads, conclude character arcs, etc.
The Summoning Stones and the Great Sleep will no longer be accessible. Canon updates will also no longer be effective during this time. If you have a canon update occur during the summer you can still use the half-application - just make sure to include the canon update section when you do.
Per Death Certificates: Characters may still die but hauntings/deer statues will no longer be relevant. If a character dies at this point in-game, they will simply wake up in the new world/their home. There will be no dream for them to be brought back to. If you have any requests waiting from prior to July 1st, we will get to you soon!
If at any time you have a dire question for our team, please let us know on this page or contact Milk directly via Plurk or Discord. Do not PM the mod journal/plurk. Do not use any other page in the game for any lingering questions. We will no longer be tracking pages.
Door Voting Reveal | Chapter 2 Information + Application
We have our official calendar and schedule planned for the upcoming months and Early Access dates. These are the official dates and will likely not change.
The full release of all game information will be dependent on when it is finished in its entirety by Milk. As soon as it looks good to go, we will update this community, Discord, and Plurk to let everyone know! At that point, you will be able to follow the new game for new game information.
Earlyish August: First TDM goes live. This TDM will be open to the public and you will not need to have previously played in Deerington to play on it. Keep your eyes peeled! We will drop this at random.
August 27th: Early Access Reserves Open. Early Access is for prior Deerington members only.
September 1st: First Newsletter.
September 1st-5th: Early Access Applications Open on 1st and close by the 5th.
Plotting details for the event are posted.
September 8th: Transition/Early Access Event. This event will exist specifically to bridge original Deerington Sleepers into the new setting and allow for a "reunion" atmosphere before the game gets rolling.
September 26th: Early Access ends. Official Reserves open to public. Chapter 2's first TDM goes live.
October 1st: Chapter 2 officially opens. Anyone can now apply regardless of having been in Deerington previously or not.
October 1st-5th: Official applications open to public. All allowed to apply in. Applications open on the 1st and close on the 5th.
Plotting details for the event are posted.
October 8th: First official event goes live.
October 15th: First official CR meme goes live.
October 27th: Reserves open + TDM posted.
November 1st: Newsletter posted. First AC cycle starts.
January 1st 2022: We will no longer accept split-applications from old Deerington players. All applications from this application cycle moving forward will have to be the full Chapter 2 application.
Dates will always be routinely given in Newsletters as will reminders for AC and the like. Thank you!

Hey everyone! With the game winding down, I figure now would be a good time to post this thing I've been working on the last week (see, I wasn't ignoring tags for no reason!... I'll get right back on those ASAP). This is a music video I made after compiling every taken character in the game currently! And a few dropped ones, if you're have lucky to have slipped in there. Honestly I am a mess and I'm terrible at managing things, so please forgive me if I missed anyone! Some characters only got a short shot compared to others, but I admittedly... ran out of room, and also maybe had a lot of program crashes by the end. Ha. Hahaha.

It will be a huge post so please make sure to read over the information carefully. We understand there may be a lot of questions about the new game and some may be easy to answer right away - but there will be plenty of helpful information pages that will probably answer many questions once Chapter 2 is set up and going.

NO TRUTH, ONLY DARE
It's a game of Truth or Dare but the only option is Dare and you HAVE to do it! Your character is now obliged to carry out the whims of other characters! This won't be awkward or weird for them at all!
THE RULES ARE THUS:
- Post your character's toplevel!
- Respond to others with your character daring them to do something. (e.g. "i dare you to hug 3 people", "i dare you to kiss [specific character on the meme]", "i dare you to swap clothing with someone", etc.)
- No daring people to do or say things to you (e.g. "i dare you to give me a kiss")! It has to involve tagging out to a different character (e.g. "i dare you to give a boy a kiss").
- React to dares ICly, go find someone to complete the dare with, and link the dare-giver to the fruits of their daring!
- (EXAMPLE: Your character was dared to punch Ozpin in the face. Find Ozpin's toplevel, tag him with a punch in the face, and reply to the dare-giver with a link so they can watch it play out.)

We are currently deciding if it would be a better move to end voting on June 1st instead of June 5th. This would allow people to know the new setting 5 days sooner and I'd be able to get the final event/companion up sooner as well!
We want to hear back from our players what they think of this idea! Let us know on this voting form.
EDIT: We added an "Im not voting" option to the list for those who aren't participating!
We have no problem keeping the end date for voting be the 5th so don't worry if you need more time!

There's a picrew eggmaker you can use to make a cute picture of an egg if you can't find a picture that suits what you're going for elsewhere.
YOUR EGG: This egg is meant to represent your character. It can look/feel like anything, but it should have some unique interior to represent the "core" of your character's life - whether that's a heartbeat, a flower, mechanics, stardust, or whatever substance. Characters will know immediately that this is their egg and that they have a soul-deep connection and that this egg represents the potential for their "new life." [ source ]
