Age: 25/26 -- he's a leap year baby so he may joke about being six.

Employment in Deerington: Elementary School science teacher
Residence in Deerington: Mouse House -- out by the nature reserve.

Day to Day Activities: When he can, he's at school for normal hours. You may very well have heard about the science guy who used a bunsen burner to kill a spider on the ceiling. That's this guy. He can also be found at the Coffee shop, or the cafe run by John and Bruce. He rides around on a hoverbike a lot of times. At night, chances are he's patrolling back and forth between Mouse House and the apartments, followed by his robot Lion.

About This Character: Local Ace pilot goes on a deep space exploration mission, gets abducted by aliens, tortured and experimented on. Escapes back to Earth and accidentally adopts a bunch of reckless teenagers -- and then they're all kidnapped by a giant robot lion and strongarmed into fighting a space war for the freedom of all sentient beings. Optimus Prime Approved 100%

Any Warnings: He's got a LOT of signs/symptoms of PTSD, anxiety/flashbacks/etc. Most of those flashbacks relate to violence and/or medical trauma and experimentation. It's not clear what exactly happened beyond "really bad stuff", but I try and warn for it regardless.

Present Life: ... it's fine, he's fine, everything is fine. He died recently, his friends have all died at various points, and he is genuinely struggling with that. He is not thinking about his own death if he can help it, avoiding it completely. But the more of his friends die the more guilt he's piling on himself. And the more he pushes himself to figure out the town. Chances are, you're going to get adopted in one way or another by this big dweeb.

Future Ideas: He hasn't even met her directly and he is fiercely protective of Sodder. He's investigated as much as he can through the police station and other peoples' findings, but he's determined to go to the lab, if that ever happens, wanting to help their Deer Friend as much as possible. So anything to do with figuring this place out? Digging into research or putting together what knowledge they've managed to collect so far. He's very willing to work with people, for the betterment of everyone.

ALSO YOU KNOW.... relaxing... somehow. Or dealing with the guilt and/or dying. That might be helpful sometime. Or somehow. Shiro doesn't deal with his problems he just buries them under metric tons of the phrase "I'm fine".

CR You Want: Look, he has a problem and that problem is looking after younger people. Usually teenagers. So that's... probably going to happen whether people want it to or not. But I'm open to ANYTHING really.

About This Character: damon comes across as being incredibly arrogant and self-centered, but he can be hopelessly charming when he wants to be. he is intelligent, witty, and there is no denying the fact that he is attractive. but good looks and cleverness aside, damon is narcissistic, impulsive, stubborn, aggressive, manipulative, selfish, insincere, reckless, controlling and some might even say, annoying... it's hard to know how he'll react to meeting someone at first. he can either be as sweet as a puppy, delightfully charming, flirtatious or he can be a downright prick. whenever he gets mad or upset, he tends to let his anger get the better of him and he can be unnecessarily cruel. being good is a constant struggle for him as he can't bear the pain that comes with allowing himself to feel again, but he is capable of doing the right thing when it comes to those he cares about.

Any Warnings: he's a vampire, but right now he's not unhinged or anything and has good control of his blood lust, but still. vampire. just trying to pretend to be human. damon might not like it if someone figures out that he's faking it, but then again this is deerington and people are turning into monsters here so... he might be more chill about it in time. in general though, i rarely play out damon harming a character unless it's been talked about and discussed, it makes sense ic'ly, and somehow -- you really want your poor character injured/dead? for now, he's trying to keep a low profile though. it's unlikely he'll hurt or kill someone. he's big on self-preservation.

Present Life: he got bit by a werewolf so he's not a big fan of those. werewolf bites are lethal to vampires back home and he was dying from it before finding himself here. since he's newly arrived and it's crazy to be arriving to deerington while it's looking like halloween overkill, he's just going to be figuring out the town and its people. just looking to make some connections...

Day to Day Activities: At the moment, just exploring and getting acclimated. She'll go out with her three dragons to let them fly around and hunt. They're still the size of small dogs, so they're not going to cause *that* much trouble. Even stuff is still happening too, so that will influence her routine.

About This Character: Book Dany is very nurturing and sweet, she's got a large fascination for different cultures, people, etc. She likes to be out in the crowd and being a part of things, rather than being stuck in her castle. Now that she's technically not queen (not while she's here at least), she's trying to indulge in her longing for the lost childhood she never had, as well as learning how to train her dragons and ready them for when they return. She's friendly and approachable, so feel free to just walk up to her.
Any Warnings: Rough past is kind of her motivation. She was married young, abused and raped. These are things that you can opt out of, if need be. I have an opt out post on my profile. ASOIAF is just as triggering as GoT.

Present Life: She's getting over the Moon sickness, being ill after flying away on Drogon from Meereen, getting remarried to someone she doesn't like and all around being frustrated with her current life. She's sort of certain this isn't a dream, but she's not sure completely. Right now her goal is to settle in and get comfortable, see what happens.
Future Ideas: A job or school is where most of my thought is. I'd love for her to have some friends. Eventually her dragons will grow large enough so she can ride Drogon, but that's not for awhile.

Day to Day Activities: Syen's pretty used to structure so she'll throw herself into work once I sit down and figure out a job for her to do.

About This Character: Syenite is a prickly, proud person with a metric fucktonne of ambition. She's into proving herself, and being perfect, and doing things the best way and the right way every time. Syen's an awfully hard worker. Means she's neglected her social skills along the way in favour of climbing the ladder. She's sweary and rude, and doesn't mind telling people exactly what she thinks of them. Despite all of this, once she considers somebody to be close to her, she'll ride or die for you, no questions asked. Whatever happens she'll always protect her people.
Any Warnings: Syen's come from a rough canon point! She's lost a child, she's lost a lover, and she's lost her home, all in one fell swoop. She doesn't know where her other lover is, though she knows he is alive, so there's... that? She's pretty lost right now, in summary. I've got a full list of content warnings on her permissions page.

Present Life: Everything's fine. It's totally fine to find yourself in a new place you've never visited before and your powers don't work great, that's fine. It's not like they're your whole identity, or anything. Getting hard to resist the urge to simply remake herself, and start over.
Future Ideas: I'd like Syen to make eventual friends with other people and have her open up by careful degrees. She hasn't had a normal upbringing by any stretch of the word, and she's missed out on a lot of experiences. Also, she's one of those 'what is technology' types, so I'm just looking to have fun with her in a modern setting.

CR You Want: Would fuckin' LOVE some best friends, would love any kind of friends to get into late time deep and meaningfuls. Not closed off to the option of lovers either, though she's been burnt very badly, and she needs time. Also keen on some negative CR because I love 2 fights

They've barely interacted and I'm already living for the CR possibilities with Syen and Kurt. She's reminding him some of his friends from home who are also all about hiding their brokenness behind a wall of Coping and Swearing A Lot, so he's going to zero in on fixing taking care of her until she tells him to get lost, pretty much.

About This Character:
Waverly is a ball of sunshine, although there's also some steely nerves and a whole lot of determination that often gets overlooked. For all her sweetness, she's kind of a badass, and while she is sort of the moral marshmallow centre of her canon, she sometimes makes terrible selfish decisions. The most important person in the world to her is her big sister, Wynonna, who is happily here. Less happily her best-favourite-awesome-darling girlfriend is not here :C
(She's also half angel but doesn't know this yet :') )

Any Warnings: Waverly's background includes demons, a lot of death, and sometimes cults.

Present Life: Waverly is trying to form a sort of research group to try and figure things out in Deerington, and that's taking a lot of focus. She's also going to be doing some tutoring with kids who don't want to go to Deerington's creepy school.

Character Name: Fern
Age: 16
Employment in Deerington: Weapons and combat specialist at F.E.A.R. No school, that's for nerds.
Residence in Deerington: 437 Alison Road until November, then temporarily at 302 Clover Lane with Will Graham, then a treehouse.
Day to Day Activities: Fern typically spends time outside wandering around town or lying around being contemplative in trees or on people's lawns. He can also be found at F.E.A.R. or out in nature-y places, practicing fighting or doing plant stuff. Throughout winter he won't be found outside as often due to the cold weather, and will be sleeping a lot more.

About This Character: Fern is the result of Finn getting turned into a sentient sword and merging with another sentient cursed sword, the Grass Sword. Physically that means he's now made out of grass and has various plant and shapeshifting powers. Mentally that means he has two separate minds making up his Fern self: that of a human teenager who grew up in a post-apocalyptic Earth and has strong opinions on heroism thanks to being a knight, and an eldritch horror who is completely loyal to said human teenager while simultaneously influencing Finn's darker thoughts and feelings. His self esteem is essentially non-existent so he's often extremely self-loathing, and he generally thinks violence solves everything. On top of all that he has severe problems with his identity, having lost his previous one as Finn. He has a lot of pent-up frustration and emotional instability, and on really bad days this can cause him to have destructive melt downs.
Any Warnings: Being made out of grass Fern comes with buckets of body horror! On top of that his self esteem is in shambles, he hates himself, and still has issues with his identity. He also has very violent tendencies. Grass Demon comes with cephalopod and spider imagery.

Present Life: It's autumn! Bad times for Fern, he's having to deal with October's lack of sunlight (mostly mitigated with artificial lighting), the colder weather, and the organs replacing soil in the ground. All of that is leaving him exhausted physically, and the last couple months have left him exhausted mentally. He's having a really hard time with his personhood and being a plant as well, which the October event will be exacerbating. All around he's pretty drained and resting a lot more than normal.
Future Ideas: Next month he will be moving out, which might also include destroying his house. This is something of a culmination of his housing situation since he entered the game, having sporadically trashed the place when his emotional instability got to be too much or in October, when monster!him decided to haul a bunch of dead bodies into the living room to feed off of. On the upside Logan is eventually building him a treehouse/greenhouse and while that is being built he'll be living with Will Graham.

He'll also need to go shopping for winter clothing in November! His grass clothing isn't going to cut it in the cold weather, unfortunately. Time for a whole lot of adorably ugly sweaters.

CR You Want: Any! Adults who he can latch onto as parental figures, bad influences to keep his moral compass shaky, fellow teenagers, royalty, younger kids he can older brother at, people who think the grass thing is weird/creepy/interesting. I'm happy with both positive and negative cr.

Personal Style: I will always style match, but left to my own devices, I tend towards action brackets with far too much introspection. My turnaround on tags has been pretty quick recently, but I'm in grad school and working full time, so please forgive random bouts of slowness. Character Name: Technical Boy
Age: looks in his mid-20s, but is really 130+ (because he's a New God)
Employment in Deerington: He's well on his way to working for Ashe (and Shades, who he hasn't met yet) but has no official employment
Residence in Deerington: Brahms, 418 David Cliff Apartments (which is a joke reference that I need to point out because I'm fond of it)
Day to Day Activities: Visibly, the Technical Boy has mostly just been arguing with people on the Network as a means of information gathering and for fun. On his own time, he's been exploring the available technology in Deerington from an internal perspective (and is becoming all the more irate for it). He's been picking up the occasional odd jobs within his skill set. See below. Results TBD.

About This Character: The Technical Boy is one of the New Gods, god of technology and embodiment of the Internet. In his canon, he was doing really well and held a lot more power than he does in Deerington, and that's put him in a particularly foul mood. Not that he was ever a particularly charming sort to begin with. He is a deeply annoying and unpleasant sort of character, but I promise he has a lot to offer if you give him the chance. In order to survive and be effective as a deity, he'll need the help of some worshipers acquaintances. This means he'll try to make an effort to play nice. Maybe. Hopefully. But like the internet at large, he is very rude, vulgar, and quick to rise to a fight.
Any Warnings: strong language, violence, verbal and/or physical abuse, and some adult content.
I'm sure you've all noticed Technical Boy's fondness for the word "fuck". His vulgar language is the thing that will come up most often. (It can be toned down at a player's request, but he likely won't watch his language just because it makes a character uncomfortable.)
There's a history of some sort of abuse in his past, evident in a few of his mannerisms. May come up in action brackets, but he won't be talking about it.

Present Life: He's been working on creating a more secure network option than (hackable) private posts (ie. a Dark Web equivalent), has been spying on people from within the Network [please see his permissions post], and has been on the lookout for any tech that can be used to build or upgrade existing hardware.
Future Ideas: Despite his personality, he really really wants to be helpful to the sleepers. Seeing the results of his current actions is the more immediate goal, but he's trying very hard to get in touch with a variety of different people to expand his reach and his power base. That is to say: More and varied CR is the whole future idea. Can't wait to see what opportunities emerge!

CR You Want: Tech Boy really likes arguing with teenagers (or anyone) over the Network. More of this, because it's nothing personal and it's been great fun. Ideally, he needs more people he's not outrightly hostile or ambivalent towards. He doesn't do "friends" but anyone willing to withstand him in the interest of mutual survival is great. Negative CR is pretty much expected with a character like this, but it can be tempered with the "I don't like you but otherwise we're going to die here" perspective.
CR You Don't Want: Not that I foresee this being an option, but he's definitely not ship material. It's not like he's not DTF, but he won't initiate and isn't a "relationship" sort of god.

Day to Day Activities: Being sad. No UM he spends a lot of time at the school because it's easy to distract himself by focusing on students. Otherwise he has no life because I've been real fuckin bad about this whole "doing rp" thing.

About This Character: Terry is a Chronic Helper who wants to do what he can to help people be generally Okay. He will look out for people to a point that's actively detrimental to himself and throw himself in harm's way to protect people. That said, he's also a sarcastic goth who never smiles and generally doesn't emote very strongly at all. Except sometimes when he gets angry it's hard to control his powers. But otherwise he's a good egg who just wants to take care of people and pretend not to hate himself.

Also he can sense (and transform into) fears, so Deerington is a very stressful setting for him.

Any Warnings: his history has family institutionalisation, familial abandonment, child (teen) soldiers & a military draft, psychiatry malpractice in a military context, and vague stuff to do with a cult. There's also bits of self-harm & drug addiction regarding his friends &c that probably won't come up, and he himself wrestles with depression, guilt, and issues of self-worth.

Present Life: Aside from event stuff? I think really he's just trying to find his footing in a horrible spooky town.
Future Ideas: Mostly I'm just focused on personal growth with him right now.

CR You Want: All of it, but especially: caring people, people who need a bit of taking care of/reminding they're worthwhile/need to (hypocritically) get called on not looking after themselves, people experienced with demons. Also who wants to start a "goths with spooky powers that they hate" club?

Day to Day Activities: Wolfwood works varying shifts at the hospital so sometimes he's there in the day, other times at night. When he's not working he keeps to himself a lot but does occasionally visit the park, the lake and the library. He does also go to some of the bars when he can get away with the townspeople not checking his ID too closely (he hates his ID so much).

About This Character: Wolfwood is a cynical jerk who ultimately means well, but gets ticked off very easily. He spent the last few years as an assassin in a murder cult, then an assassin in a rogue’s gallery of villains, on a pretty terrible planet, so his outlook on the world tends to be bleak and cynical. That has started to shift recently though to something more hopeful. On the regular he comes across as friendly enough to talk to, although he has a habit of being blunt and doesn’t sugarcoat anything. He has a soft spot for kids and definite investment in protecting innocents from harm. Wolfwood’s got a lot of issues but he’s actively trying to be less of an asshole, it’s just a work in progress.
Any Warnings: Wolfwood’s history includes child abuse and violence, indoctrination into a religious cult, murder, gun violence and some very morally grey decision-making. Wolfwood IS younger than he looks due to a forced body enhancement process, but he doesn't act like it and wouldn't bring it up at all without good reason.

He may also say he is or was a priest, though so far in Deerington he's mostly kept that to himself.

Present Life: Wolfwood is halfway used to being on Earth at this point, which means he'll soon have to deal with his own problems instead. About This Character: wanda deals with a fair amount of mental instablity due to how she's been treated in canon regarding her powers (for more information on her abilities). she was recently captured and arrested by her own teammates before being taken to the "raft", an enhanced imprisonment facility in the middle of the ocean, where she was put in a strait jacket and a power-neutralizing collar. because of this, she most often keeps to herself and remains secretive about her powers, but she tends to be more open and relaxed around those with special abilities of their own. it takes a lot to gain her trust but she can still be kind and understanding, as long as she doesn't feel threatened under the circumstances.
Any Warnings: psychological trauma, lab experimentation, family loss, accidental deaths, mind control.

Present Life: wanda's still trying to recover from her death in the dome, but she's stopped being secluded in her own home and is gradually bringing herself back to the outside world, after coming to terms that despite the danger of her powers, she can't always run and hide away when things go wrong. except, of course, things don't always go too well for her, and when sarissa turns full into a monster due to the event, she'll be forced to help in killing her since her attempt at getting a cure for her won't work.

Future Ideas: and then wanda turns into a ghost, to which she'll be limited in her sense of touch, but will have far more freedom in using her abilities of telekinesis to move things around for her. she'll be stuck in this form for a while, so if anyone is looking for a casper-esque witch to befriend, enjoy the girl who no longer sleeps and is stuck in her same clothes for months to come.

Any Warnings: Alice comes with the general Magicians warnings of sexual assault, murder, depression, suicide/suicidal ideation, and slavery. Day to Day Activities: Wynonna, queen of non-routine and keeping things unexpected, definitely has something resembling one here in Deerington and has sort of acquired a few usual haunts. In the mornings (or early afternoons, depending how late she's been at the bar working the night before), she usually pops into Dearly Diner for breakfast (or coffee, at the very least) and some face time with the manager, or Jane Dough for coffee and a pastry of some kind, depending on her mood. In terms of work, she's on at the bar either in the late afternoon or the evening, and aside from that she tends to go to the movie theater to check out whatever's playing, the thrift shop to score some vintage duds, the pizza place for a good slice, or the supermarket for some questionable 2 a.m. grocery shopping. If you've seen her driving around town she's usually on her giant black motorcycle or in her blue-and-white Ford truck, though she's also made one or two appearances as a passenger in a certain GTO Pontiac.

About This Character: On the surface, Wynonna can come off as an easygoing personality laced with frequent amounts of toughness and snarking all wrapped up in fringed leather — and that's not entirely inaccurate. But the truth is that she's sort of damaged goods thanks to a super traumatic childhood that's given her a lifelong subscription of abandonment and trust issues, so the surface-level joking is basically just her way of keeping others at a distance.

She's made no secret of the fact that she's the great-great-granddaughter of Wyatt Earp (yes, that Wyatt Earp), or that she's technically the latest in a long line of Earp heirs responsible for ridding their home turf of all the resurrected outlaws Wyatt ever put a bullet in — yes, that means demons, with the magical gun that kills them to boot. So she's definitely got experience dealing with the freaky, and even if Deerington has some stuff the likes of which she's never seen, she's pretty capable of keeping her head on straight long enough to take on whatever this town throws her way.
Any Warnings: Her application sums up most of it in terms of general warnings from her canon, including violence/death, parental abuse, alcoholism, depression/mental health issues and more, but happy to avoid those subjects in any threads if needed.

Present Life: The last couple months for Wynonna were genuinely A Lot, even by Deerington standards. Although she was able to navigate the Dome with relative success (and only nearly died for a hot minute before being healed by a friendly deer), she experienced a lot of personal upheaval in terms of her close relationships as a result. At the moment, things are a bit Tense between her and Logan given his clash with Frank in the Dome (which ended in the two of them going out together in spectacularly aggressive fashion), and the week that followed culminated in not only Frank's resurrection, but a sudden and surprising marriage proposal (which Wynonna, somewhat indirectly but also likely half on-purpose, has not brought up to anyone save her sister Waverly, because she may be lowkey freaking out about it for a while).

Big Emotional Moments aside, she feels like she's mostly got a handle on what this place is like and what she's going to have to face, and she's more protective of her loved ones and close CR than ever because of her experience dealing with the supernatural on a regular basis back home. Slowly, she's opening up to more and more people, including the ones she lives with, and she's accepted the fact that, based on what has been revealed to them so far, she's needed here for something, even if she doesn't know what that something is yet — so she's willing to stick around and help this town with its problems before the time comes for her to go home.

Future Ideas: Moving forward, I'd really just like to focus on building and growing Wynonna's existing relationships, as well as continuing to introduce her to new people. She has a lot of great, dynamic CR that offers her lots of varying opportunities to interact with folks, from trying to mentor any kids that somehow think she's cool to hanging out with fellow hunters to having her world rocked a little by non-humans and Sleepers with powers and things of that nature. I don't have any Big Plans for her at the moment, but Wynonna will always and forever be available to help your character tackle any monster problems (mostly because I like writing fighty/action scenes for her, so any chance she has to kick ass is thoroughly welcomed). Having recently become a parent and attempting to move on from as many old bad habits as possible he's trying the whole 'transparent and honest' thing but old habits die hard. Prone to hyperfixating on problems and not sleeping, he's a little irritable at the moment but will settle into 'ok this is happening, how to fix' soon enough. Everything in the event this month has him pretty rattled, coping through projects and R&D is going to be a thing.

Thinks they're way smarter and better at fighting than they actually are. About This Character: scott's a dad with a bod, okay. he's incredibly smart though that's easily overlooked because he's kind of immature and likes to have fun. he loves his daughter most of all but he's outgoing and gregarious and likes people. he's also ant man in his spare time. and, you know, a vampire now.

Day to Day Activities: He keeps himself busy more and more lately, running from his demons I guess you could say. When he's not working his jobs, he's probably walking with the dire wolf he and Allura adopted out in the wilderness, or finding somewhere to abuse illicit substances in peace... like the Junkyard, you know, running from them demons. But on a good day he'll play video games in the Arcade in his time off from his job there, play guitar in the park or anywhere else that's nice to hang around and play some music in, and he'll visit the comic book shop and the club scene quite a bit.

About This Character: Lance is a teenage fighter pilot tossed into an intergalactic space war against an evil empire of purple space furries. He started out as the archetypal cocky, moronic flirt of the team and over time we've gotten to see that he's rather intelligent both mentally and emotionally, struggles with self worth and truly opening up to people. He comes from a large Cuban family who he loves very much, and he's often homesick though he keeps that close to the chest and hides it under bravado and humor. In Deerington, he's been through a lot, after a whole year in game now, he's accumulated his fair share of trauma that he continues to try and cope with under bravado and humor, but it's often not enough.
Any Warnings: Though he doesn't have a particularly rough past in canon, Lance is technically a teenage war veteran. Though it's not something the show talks about, perhaps because the realities of war are a bit heavy for a Y7 show, I do explore the psychological consequences of being on the frontlines of a war out in space sometimes. And his experiences in Deerington have piled on even more PTSD, so he now also comes with a warning for substance abuse/addiction, slight psychosis from a monster taking a chunk of his sanity some time ago, depression and suicidal ideation.

Present Life: Well, Lance just came back from the dead in time for the event, after being dead for a whole month. Because returning is a choice and Lance went through a lot of heavy stuff, he wasn't sure he wanted to come back for a while. Currently, he's dealing with everything he did leading up to his painful murder at Reaper's hands, death flu, and the moon madness making it all worse. But he's also reached a point where he knows he can't keep going on as he has and will soon be looking into ways to try and... fix himself. Not the healthiest approach, but at least he's proactive?
Future Ideas: As much as I love hurting Lance and tearing him down, there comes a point where I have to build him up a bit more... so I can eventually tear him down again. I have plans for him to seek help from Moira for his sanity problems and then end up with some powers thanks to genetic meddling. I also want him to experience a second death sometime in the next couple months and come back as a ghost now that we have permanent monsters. These experiences will help force him to face certain problems he's been avoiding dealing with in interesting ways.

CR You Want: All of it. Friends, enemies, relationships somewhere in between that are weird and difficult to define, and even some casual intimate partners.

About This Character: Free Spirited, a touch defiant, flirtatious, occasionally intentionally enigmatic (when it's amusing to her), playful and friendly to most, she doesn't always seem to take things quite as seriously as she should. Some of this is a front, a way to cope with stress. She has a moral compass that points towards the old Franklin adage "the right to swing my fist ends at the next person's face." She wants everyone to feel free to do as they please, so long as it isn't screwing other people's freedoms up, and to not be judged for her life choices.

She's more than a little world weary. A century of war in her home world has been followed by a year in Deerington, and it's wearing on her. There is no break in the madness, and she can seem frayed at the edges, while pointedly trying very hard to 'look' like she's completely in control.
Any Warnings:
- Vira-Lorr is a semi-recovering and highly functional alcoholic. As of early October 2019, she dumped every bottle of booze in her house down the drain and, while she hasn't sworn off the sauce, she's keeping it to one drink a night (and naturally drinking a decent sized, fancy one when she can). She hasn't really addressed her alcoholism, but she's trying to keep it to a level where she doesn't do anything stupid.

Present Life:
- Vira-Lorr is suffering her 4th death in Deerington on the 22nd of October at the hands of Allura, and will be out of commission until the 29th. She will be suffering the flu and sleepwalking, but her memories will be recovered over the course of her Death Flu week and she will not suffer major memory loss of home or Deerington.
- Why is she keeping her memories this time you ask? Well, for one, I paid the 800 pts ^.~, but I like storyline. So, she has been researching ways in which memories are stored into objects in Deerington, and has begun to make a small number of them, taking away snippets of memories to serve as 'seeds' to force herself to remember her past here and at home. She'll be creating larger 'memory items' as a sort of data storage of major things she finds in Deerington, to help others should she die 7 times or leave. (And the 800 points any time she dies is a reflection of these efforts. Her 'seed memory' items won't generally make an appearance.)
- She's kind of in a really awkward situation involving Chloe Price and Max Caufield right now that' probably only going to get more awkward as time goes. Yay!
- Vira-Lorr's been doing a lot of fairly aggressive research into Deerington's past, trying to find some secret of how to help rescue Sodder and give piece to the sleepers, but while she's made progress it hasn't gotten very far yet.
- She's running guns on the side with Ashe, because armed sleepers are usually good sleepers.

Future Ideas:
- Much to her close CR's pleasure I expect, I have no plans for a 5th death anytime soon. Deaths 5 & 6 are debilitating ones, and I want a feel for the direction of the game into 2020 before I even consider a fifth. So, until sometime next year, she's off the table for fatal scenes unless the events of the game make it impossible to avoid.
- Further Exploration/Memory Items: She's going to be getting pretty deep into the weeds, trying to track down clues, valves, anything that can give her a hint about what's really happening in Deerington.
- Detox/Taking Responsibility: Vira-Lorr's been pretty damned selfish in the year she's been here, and wile a lot of characters are just as understanding of her drinking as her canon cast were (because Deerington), she's screwed up things enough that she's going to start working on her drinking and selfishness towards others. We'll see how that goes. Don't expect to see her at a 12 step meeting, though. Not really her style.

CR You Want: Friends, Rivals, people she can flirt with non-seriously, fellow explorers into awful places, magical dueling/research budies, even enemies. I'm good with most things.

He does regular things like shopping for food or going to the diner or cafe, but he tries to avoid anywhere there's lots of people at once. His Dream Guide is a slow loris, and you may catch sight of it too, because he does summon it regularly to make sure it's doing okay.

About This Character: Credence is pretty shy and reluctant to talk to people, though he's opened up like...slightly. He's more likely to have a conversation now than he used to be. He really likes animals and likes trying new foods. He's also not-very-secretly-now capable of turning into an incredibly destructive magical force! This isn't really random, it's usually self-defence or a response to something traumatic (unless an event is doing something else, like he's mostly monsterfied during the current Halloween event).
Any Warnings: Talking to Credence often has references to body horror, past child abuse/religious trauma, violence, death/murder. If for any reason you need me to gloss over anything or keep mention of it out, please do let me know!

Present Life: Grindelwald isn't here anymore so he has some weird complicatd feelings about that, but he's only talked to The Doctor about that at all. Mostly he takes care of his animals and works lmao. I need to cash in his bonus points for...SOMETHING and maybe that would give him more to do.
Future Ideas: I wanna do some villain things or have him hurt people and have to deal with consequences BUT this is sort of a slow idea in my head and I haven't worked it out so idk, idk. About This Character: the Highwarlock of Brooklyn. He is Sissy that Walk personified, with a huge flair for fashion and the dramatic. He doesn't pull punches, and is very direct in his feelings on things. Dry humor, drier wit.

Any Warnings: His mother killed herself because of him being part demon, Asmodeus the prince of hell is his father. His step-father then tried to kill him. He's in a touch and go sort of romance with a shadowhunter (part-angel) and there's a lot of race specific things in regards to demons, vampires, fae, etc and politics that keep them beneath the rest of the population.

Present Life: Again, Highwarlock of Brooklyn - helping the clave and shadowhunters get to the bottom of Valentine Morganstern's evil plans. He is interested in one of the Shadowhunters in a romantic capacity but as of his canon point nothing has been fully explored.

About This Character: Just gonna borrow a bit from the last CR meme.

Kurt is unexpected in a whole heap of ways! He looks like a spooky demon but he's really just a charming cuddly goofball who loves to make jokes and have fun. For a while he was studying to become a priest, though that may or may not have been an illustion implanted in his mind (rule #1 of dealing with a Marvel comics character: just.. try not to think about it too hard). He's still holding on to his Catholic faith, but it's more defined by belief in larger forces than being too tied to doctrine.

These days his antics are a little more toned down, but he's still a charmer. He's also dealing with having come back from the dead (long story short: he was killed in battle and went to Heaven, but was kind of miserable there without his friends, then there was a fight with his demon father on a flying ship, blah blah, he was resurrected but may not have a soul now).

He's also got the added Deerington exclusive trauma of not being able to teleport (his main mutant ability) without it literally tearing his fuzzy little body to pieces. Fun times for Kurt!

Any Warnings: Kurt's past includes a bunch of violence and not a little abuse, though I will try as much as I can to warn for these things. He has a fairly happy life in canon but it hasn't been easy (thanks, superhero comics!), so he might dwell on his own or other deaths, injuries, possessions by weird ghouls and aliens, etc. He's also an adult in a new relationship, so some threads may drift into sexual/nsfw territory, but again any content of this kind will carry warnings.

He's a (semi) practising Catholic so scenes with him may also include references to that religion/religious themes in general.

Present Life: Kurt is more settled in Deerington since the last meme. He has a new job and is building on his relationship with his partners, as well as new (and old) friends. But of course that's brought on the slow realisation that the longer he stays here, the more comfortable he becomes, the harder it's going to be to wake up..

Future Ideas: I'm still interested in Kurt getting more involved with helping out the Sleeper community -- once things quiet down a bit (ha), he may be offering up either self defence classes or some kind of weekly counselling/group therapy thing, or both.

Kurt's had a pretty rough first few months in town, so I'm going to be trying to steer him away from trauma for a while and let him get back to his fun loving self. That said, I'm very interested in having him explore how Deerington might fit (or not) with his interpretations of faith and the afterlife.

CR You Want: Friendsss! Kurt is a people person, please give him more people. Especially friends around his own age to hang out with, kids he can mentor, non-humans he can have solidarity with, etc.

Since he's working at Pixie's, I'd also love to explore who he might be meeting there, or just seeing on the regular -- who is coming to open mic night? Who might just be hanging out there to enjoy the music? Who turns up every week looking for new records? etc

Age: late thirties; ~38
Employment in Deerington: Wrench has recently begun his tenure as an American Sign Language professor for the Deerington Community College. He is also offering private tutoring lessons by request.
Residence in Deerington: 707 David Cliff Apartments, technically. However, you're more likely to catch him at a little cabin by Lake Tomie, shared with Logan (howlett) and Kurt (suchmiracles).

Day to Day Activities: Right now, he's pretty heavy into American Sign Language instruction, either at the Community College or through private tutoring. He's also available for odd jobs and happy to sell his skills as a general handyman for hire. Wrench almost never sleeps, so you can pretty well catch him at any time of the day or night. If your character keeps an odd schedule themselves, they might find him out wandering. He'll be fishing, hunting, and foraging until the bitter end too. In between horrors he's found the time to wander the city and become fascinated with the underground music scene, and he's currently trading ASL lessons for cooking lessons with Blake.

About This Character: Wrech is a former hitman who worked -- and was largely raised up -- within the Fargo mob syndicate. He's about five years post-encounter that left his partner (professional and personal) dead, and the Fargo mafia as an organization totally obliterated. His canon is full of violence, and he's been central to a great majority of it.

Wrench is also canonically Deaf, which was probably evident based on previous answers to this meme. I've got a basic FAQ for some matters related to that, if you're interested.

Any Warnings: Death, gun violence, kidnapping & child endangerment.

Present Life: When Wrench first came to Deerington, he assumed he'd died and that this place was a kind of a purgatory. He spent the first month and a half filtering everything that happened through some pretty stereotypical religious lenses, just to try to make sense of it. Now that he's met more of his fellow Sleepers, he's started to realize this place can't be doling out punishment to Fundamentally Bad folks, because there's so many people here who are Good and Innocent. But strangely, he's also starting to realize that there's a lot about this place that's just plain better than his life before it, monsters be damned.

In canon prior to his entry, he was a really broken man. He'd lost the man he loved, the people who raised him, and any sense of stability (strange and wrong though it might have been). He was on his way to federal prison after having spent a half-decade on the run. Now that he's in Deerington, he's really learning how to connect and how to be close to people, and finally starting to process what his life has been like up to this point.

Future Ideas: I want him to keep grappling with these questions of what makes a person a monster, or irredeemable. I want him to have run-ins with folks who were in law enforcement, and folks who have a strong sense of faith. I want him to be challenged and questioned and eventually have to confront who he was before this place, since no one really knows the full scope of it.

I also want him to continue to struggle with these questions of what he's "good for." Violence is pretty baked-in for him, and it's always going to be a natural default setting. Maybe that means getting him involved with F.E.A.R., or maybe there's a seedy underbelly to this place that wants to use him for their own purposes. Wrench is, as his name suggests, largely a tool for other people's intentions. He has not enjoyed a whole lot of personal agency in his life to date, and I'm happy to keep up that push-and-pull struggle.

He is consistently aware that if he isn't here, he's either in prison or dead back home. That more than anything is probably going to make him want to find ways to stay.

She can also be found regularly at the gym trying to keep fit and ready and has likely destroyed some punching bags. When the weather is nice and everything isn't going to shit, she likes to enjoy the parks and just be one with nature. She will join her friends to social events. Shiro has gotten her addicted to coffee.

Oh and she has a fucking Aston Martin. Which is awesome?? She's really picked up driving wheeled things and finds it archaic and charming. So you may see her around town feeling like a boss.

About This Character: Allura is an princess alien space elf who's father created five giant robot kitties that make an even bigger robot man. Her planet was destroyed and that makes her sad, but she fights so no one else has to be. Consequently Allura is someone who tends to take charge of things but will yield to the leadership and expertise of others when she sees it. She strives to be diplomatic and calm, but can be unsettled and reactive given the situation. She values her friends as her new family and will smack a bitch for messing with them. Allura is a friendly and genuinely empathetic person! But takes betrayal hard.

Any Warnings: her planet was destroyed and her people were (attempt to be) systematically eliminated across the universe so genocide and violence is a warning that tends to come up with her sometimes. She has a lot of survivor guilt. Also due to past events in game she may also come with warnings about memories of body horror, more violence, psychosis, hallucinations, and death. Good times all around.

Present Life: OH BOY. SO. I was kinder to her up until this point. She recently cleansed her ghost by the hospital, so now there is a SUPER CUTE deer statue out front. That is the good news.

Bad news is I turned her back into a giant monster that feeds on people's souls. Whoops? And she's actually killing someone this time. Feels bad, man. That combined with feeling like she forced Shiro into his own monster transformation means Allura will be riding the guilt train for a while. Which also means she will probably try to throw herself 300% into working on literally anything.

Future Ideas: I am really considering spending some points to do a trip into Sodder's heart within the next couple months! I think that will be really neat. So of course if you want in LMK.

Also I have been considering having her do, like...energy? Sessions? Her stabilizing crystal is allowing her better control over her alchemy again and she can do some quintessence (life energy) healing. So she could offer that to people.

I keep thinking "LADY FIGHT CLUB" but I think that would probably be more Allura throwing people around. But maybe a group of badass women coming together to train and also help teach self-defense to those that don't know? CR opportunities!

CR You Want: I always want more CR. GIVE IT TO ME.

But to be specific, I love it when Allura has project buddies, so creating things and performing research are great. Also more people teaching her How To Earth is always nice! And, of course, the more people she gets to know the more she can grow as a character. Getting to try and help other people through their own trauma is good for her too.

Negative CR is just as welcome as friendly CR. I don't generally plan out romantic things as I like it when unexpected stuff happens organically.

Hah, totally poking with the wrong girl, but whatever. I'm enjoying the lovely little oopsy moment with Vira-Lorr we've got going. Allura gets to mark a kill down for Vicar Allura. If you want to do postlude regrets/remorse things in November I am absolutely down for it.

VL will probably do a posting to the network around the start of next month, as her memories come back to her more fully and she sort of takes in the situation they're all in.
