About This Character: (APP) but all you really need to know is that she's a smartass and capable of handling herself. she's been through hell and back and speaks her mind. good badass things come in small packages.
Any Warnings: her father was taken by an angel trying to stop the apocalypse. that angel is Castiel, her father gave his consent. dean and sam kill things for a living and she's basically a professional monster murderer. lost both of her parents in gruesome ways, was part of a little group of thugs and almost traded to a douchebag so that someone she looked up to could make a clean getaway.
Present Life: Just in time to bounce back from the last event and move on from the past few months Claire's going into a full grief trip, guilt trip, and getting put on trial. So, that's cool. She's slowly coming around to the idea that she's an imperfect person when her emotions aren't be manipulated and is scouting out gigs to stay busy with now that she's had some time to recuperate from her losses and the hell that had followed her the months following.
Future Ideas: Honestly, bond with others a whole lot more - come outside of herself and share more than the surface value chick. Get her to talk about her parents, I fucking dare you.

Employment in Deerington: Bartender at the fake Hair of the Dog, though she's definitely someone you can ask about how to get into the real one.
Residence in Deerington: 1433 Gatlin Drive, a farmhouse out in Clarke Acres, where she lives with Waverly, Frank, Cliff, Laura and Brianna, as well as a verifiable menagerie of animals.
Day to Day Activities: Wynonna, queen of non-routine and keeping things unexpected, definitely has something resembling regular habits here in Deerington (surprise, surprise) and has sort of acquired a few usual haunts. In the mornings (or early afternoons, depending how late she's been at the bar working the night before), she usually pops into Dearly Diner for breakfast (or coffee, at the very least) and some face time with that manager dude, or Jane Dough for coffee and a pastry of some kind, depending on her mood. In terms of work, she's on at the bar either in the late afternoon or the evening, and aside from that she tends to go to the movie theater to check out whatever's playing, the thrift shop to score some vintage duds, the pizza place for a good slice, or the supermarket for some questionable choices in grocery shopping. If you've seen her driving around town she's usually on her giant black motorcycle or in her blue-and-white Ford truck, though she's also made one or two appearances as a passenger in a certain GTO Pontiac.

About This Character: On the surface, Wynonna can come off as an easygoing personality laced with frequent amounts of toughness and snarking all wrapped up in fringed leather — and that's not entirely inaccurate. But the truth is that she's sort of damaged goods thanks to a super traumatic childhood that's given her a lifelong subscription of abandonment and trust issues, so the surface-level joking is basically just her way of keeping others at a distance.

She's made no secret of the fact that she's the great-great-granddaughter of Wyatt Earp (yes, that Wyatt Earp), or that she's technically the latest in a long line of Earp heirs responsible for ridding their home turf of all the resurrected outlaws Wyatt ever put a bullet in — yes, that means demons, with the magical gun that kills them to boot. So she's definitely got experience dealing with the freaky, and even if Deerington has some stuff the likes of which she's never seen, she's pretty capable of keeping her head on straight long enough to take on whatever this town throws her way.
Any Warnings: Her application sums up most of it in terms of general warnings from her canon, including violence/death, parental abuse, alcoholism, depression/mental health issues and more, but happy to avoid those subjects in any threads if needed.

Present Life: SO Wynonna's personal life has been all over the place recently. Not only is she still sort of reeling from the unexpected disappearance of her little sister Waverly (and pretending she's dealing with it while Not Actually Dealing With It), but she's been operating in hardcore demon hunter mode as a result of her ultimate trait (Ultimate Heir) going into overdrive.

So really, she's just been about burying her feelings and taking out a lot of monsters this month alongside her fiance (a Mr. Frank Castle) and it's all going to culminate in her accidentally killing a Sleeper and briefly inheriting their powers — and not knowing what to do with that real steep learning curve, obviously. By the time all is said and done, she's going to be dealing with a mountain of loss and guilt and will probably end up spiraling a little bit and, once again, drinking too much and falling back on some other bad habits. Good times!
Future Ideas: I want to focus on building and deepening Wynonna's existing relationships, as well as continuing to introduce her to new people. She has a lot of great, dynamic CR that offers her lots of varying opportunities to interact with folks, from trying to mentor any kids that somehow think she's cool to hanging out with fellow hunters to having her world rocked a little by non-humans and Sleepers with powers and things of that nature. I don't have any Big Plans for her at the moment, but Wynonna will always and forever be available to help your character tackle any monster problems (mostly because I like writing fighty/action scenes for her, so any chance she has to kick ass is thoroughly welcomed). She's also forever available for serving your characters drinks at the bar and listening to their problems, and if you want an unbiased ear doling out debatably good advice, you can count on her.

CR You Want: Friends, found family, kids for her to secretly mom as a Secret Mom, drinking buddies, diner buddies, people for her to serve drinks to, folks with supernatural/demon-type experience, honestly everyone and anyone because I want her to meet all the people.

Present Life: She's getting to know Deerington, but more importantly, she's currently watching the Trails/Executions going on and it's definitely messing with her to see someone getting executed.
Future Ideas: Learning to read, making more friends, maybe get her more involved with horror plots?

Day to Day Activities: Rei can often be found at the library doing reference related things, as that's her day job. She frequents the comic book store primarily to see Chloe and now Gwen, and does her shopping, typically walking everywhere. She is considering acquiring a car, though. Also she rejoined Chloe's D&D game so there is that too.

About This Character: For starters, Rei is a typically quiet, somewhat reserved young woman with an almost aristocratic air of peace and elegance around her. She rarely raises her voice and tends to communicate some feelings more with facial expressions than words alone. She is the child of a powerful politician who more or less abandoned her, and she didn't really have friends until she was 14, and those were people who were more or less tied to her soul by destiny, so her first time in Deerington (about 1 year ago, and she has her memories of that time.) was an experience in making new connections. She tends to dress in more traditional Japanese clothing, favoring hakama and the like, so she stands out pretty starkly.

She's kind, though she has little patience for the kinds of people that waste her time, men in particular she gives short shrift too. In a crisis, she responds decisively and boldly, often transforming into her magical martian alter ego, Sailor Mars. In those kinds of situations she'll fight with the singular goal of completely destroying whatever it is that's causing her problems. She's also psychic, and accompanied by 2 crows at nearly all times!

Any Warnings: Rei is the victim of emotional abandonment by a parental figure, and she herself can lay on some casual misandry fairly thick. She's also prone to acts of extreme violence involving fire if conflict happens, and is fairly matter of fact about death, particularly her own.

Present Life: Rei is currently transformed into a ghost! She is dealing with all of that stuff while also trying to keep her head on straight. She's also currently seeing Gwenpool, and raising an adolescent Warg named Iris while trying not to freak out about Usagi being around.
Future Ideas: I'm planning on Rei performing a ritual to break her ghost curse sometime in August or September, so I'd be interested in spiritual characters to get involved with that some!

CR You Want: I'm open to a lot of things with Rei! She can always, always use more friends, and she makes a decent mentor figure for younger characters. I'm also cool with negative CR, particularly with characters that find her unsettling either as a person or a ghost!

Day to Day Activities: Jubilee hits up the arcade often, she goes to work, and she's almost always going to be seen traveling around town on rollerblades! Weird as heck, I know! She's easy to spot, just follow the giant yellow coat.

About This Character: Jubilee is a Valley Girl, Chinese American, and the child of two wealthy and deceased immigrants. She's also a mutant with the power to create small explosive bursts of plasma, and she is basically the 1990s as a decade distilled into human form. She's loud, brash, with a big personality and a 'tude. She's a nice gal, but she'll make fun of people as a form of affection. She's extremely athletic, and a bright ray of sunshine compared to most.

Any Warnings: Jubilee is an orphan who has experienced extreme alienation and outright racism both as a Chinese American in the United States and in China, as well as because she is a Mutant. She has a violent past and that may come up as well.

Present Life: Jubilee is just getting settled in, and she is brand new!
Future Ideas: I'm hoping to get Jubilee settled in, that's the big thing right now!

Residence in Deerington: Mouse House - out by the nature park on Elm Street.

Day to Day Activities: Now that school's out, Shiro is at a loss with what to do with himself. He did sign up to help repair the stables a while back, so he'll probably be doing that! He can also be found at the Coffee shop, or the cafe run by John and Bruce. He rides around on a hoverbike a lot of times. At night, chances are he's patrolling back and forth between Mouse House and the apartments, followed by his robot Lion. The Lion's the size of a draft horse, you can't miss it. He can also be found at the rec center gym, where he'll help with self-defense lessons if asked.

About This Character: Local Ace pilot goes on a deep space exploration mission, gets abducted by aliens, tortured and experimented on. Escapes back to Earth and accidentally adopts a bunch of reckless teenagers -- and then they're all kidnapped by a giant robot lion and strongarmed into fighting a space war for the freedom of all sentient beings. Loves space and astronomy, can drive or fly just about anything. Hopeless in the kitchen. Loves bad jokes and uses them as a coping mechanism.

Any Warnings: He's got a LOT of signs/symptoms of PTSD, anxiety/flashbacks/etc. Most of those flashbacks relate to violence and/or medical trauma and experimentation. It's not clear what exactly happened beyond "really bad stuff", but I try and warn for it regardless.

Also, because it's come up a few times recently, descriptions of chronic and/or potentially terminal (?) illness may occur in close CR conversations. I will warn for that in the subject lines too.


Present Life: Shiro hasn't slept well in like weeks now. Thanks to the Palantir. Which means he's out and about even more. Chugging coffee and working out. He's still going to his teaching job when the school's open, because hey, it helps him focus on other things. Otherwise not much has changed except the massive amount of guilt hanging on him - he still lives at Mouse House, still has his bike and his Lion. He's struggled a lot with the rumors recently, but has no idea how to deal with any of it.


Future Ideas:
Mostly looking into solving the Sodder mystery right now. Maybe a trip up to the lab at some point in the future? But always open to throwing him into things that may require a magic robot arm or combat support in general! He's always up for helping people, no matter what. Aggressively friendshipping anyone who might need it.

Since he's been going to the gym, he's made himself available to people for self-defense training too. If you want to thread or handwave that happening, I'm up for it!

Current event toplevel is here! He definitely may need someone to help talk him out of the Guilt Monster.

I may be taking it easy on the tag outs this month, but if there's something you'd like to do, let me know!

Employment in Deerington: Park Warden Logan. When he's not recovering from his 2nd death, find him somewhere in Deerington National Pk, convening with nature. Picking berries. Identifying flowers. Practicing bird calls. In a past life, he was a Disney princess.

Residence in Deerington: What used to be a private little cabin near Lake Tomie.

Day to Day Activities: See employment details. Ever the skeptic, he tries to keep off the grid. As much as anyone can in Deerington. Which, admittedly, he knows might be a lost cause. But it's also a very good excuse for avoiding social situations and not learning how to use his phone. He's always low-key tempted to delve into the mysteries of Deerington and it's not hard to get his conspiracy theories tingling, but he's no magician and at the end of the day apathy or nihilism wins out over curiosity. He hunts what's in season, reads what's out of season, smokes a lot of cigars and does a lot of handy work for people in and out of the park. Carpentry. Plumbing. Mechanics. You name it. He can also be found meditating and doing some creative projects, but both of those things he tends to guard a little more closely. You're more than welcome to find him odd-jobbing around town, up to his elbows in hunting, fishing and skinning things, loafing around the bars or buying an absurd amount of cigars at any local tuck shop. If you're less likely to find him in the forest, it's only because odds are good he's already found you first.

Sometimes he gets up to things in the shadier parts of Deerington but he likes to make sure most people don't know about that.

About This Character: This is 616 Logan, but the attitude doesn't change much across mediums. Alignment: Chaotic-tired. Bitterly apathetic on the outside. Warm and fuzzy on the inside. Says he doesn't like anyone, but no one more than himself. I know he makes things difficult being generally unapproachable, but I swear to god anyone with the patience for his clipped remarks will get a long winded story or a shoulder to cry on whenever they need it. <3

Any Warnings: Oh so many warnings. His whole life is a chronology of dead spouses and families, human rights violations. You're more than welcome to get into any of that with him, but know it's a retrospective of misery that spans just about every major world war, and global tragedy of the last hundred years. CWs for graphic violence, body horror, torture, self-harm, suicide, non-con, coercion, animal / psychological / physical / sexual / substance abuses. I never dive headlong into any of these topics without knowing someone. If their conversation starts getting heavy I'll check your persmissions but feel free to PM me if you want to dbl make sure I avoid anything entirely.

Present Life: Logan was pulled from a canon point where he's dead. Thanks to other people from his canon in the game he knows he's dead back home and doesn't have a lot of faith in ever leaving Deerington. He's also been through more than enough interdimensional weirdness in his life that he's not exactly shocked by the horrors this place has to offer. In fact, he's done pretty well for himself here, settling in with a handful of familiar faces and rebuilding something of the found family they were before Deer-town. If there's anything he's still not wholly used to it, it's the added precaution he has to take with his healing factor around here. What happens to him happens to someone within 10 feet of him. As he heals from the damage they take it. He still forgets that sometimes and SNIKTs his claws at will. Apologies to Kurt's knuckles. In a breath: it pisses him off to not know what's actually going on around him. He's habitually paranoid enough without help. But spend a lifetime around people who can warp reality and you become pretty adaptable to whatever.

‣ Drinking buddies. Like blues and poker and brown liquor? Let's hang out.
‣ Co-conspirators & partners in crime. While he has a lot of do-gooder friends, he's really easy to conscript for some bad deeds. You got some ambitions to do some crimes on the down-low? He'll probably be happy to help. I'd love to give him someone to go all covert-ops with only to have their misdeeds come to light some day
‣ Doctors without boundaries. He's an interesting specimen for anyone in the medical community. Apart from being a one man organ farm, his blood and plasma have both been tapped as a cure-all and a narcotic, among other things. Or some doctors interested in his physiology.
‣ Curious telepaths and unwitting empaths. The only thing more interesting to dissect might be his head. I'd love find some uncomfortable CR with nosy psychologists, telepaths or empaths.
‣ Found-family. Give me your misfits and orphans and lonely hearts. Misery loves company. He's a very good confidant. Not the kind that hugs you and tells you it'll be all right, but the real talk kind. Also, if your character pairs well with an older brother kind of figure, get at me.
‣ Book lovers. He's unexpectedly well read for a guy that says ain't without a hint of irony. I'd love to find an adorable intellectual to surprise with discussions of Tolstoy or something nerdy.
‣ 'Fraidy cats. I'd love to find someone who's literally afraid of him— be that his general disposition or being creeped out by the claws and the violence and the accelerated healing. It's on my bucket list to find someone like this who might eventually warm to him if he puts in enough effort.
‣ Flirts. He's an unrepentant flirt. He'll do it as much out of interest as an interest in your embarrassment. He's shameless, and noncommittal and since he's here for a long time, it might as well be a good time.

It'll be fabulous. She also reads a lot (of Scifi) in her free time - which she's had quite a bit of since being stranded in horror town.

Day to Day Activities: Working at her apothecary, window shopping, shoe shopping, yoga, reading, going to coffee shops, and walking around town. She's been hanging out at Stefan's place a lot.

About This Character: Katherine has been on the run for over 500 years. She has 1,001 walls, is incredibly strategic, and will throw anyone under the bus if it means her own survival. (She really needs a reason for the latter.) With that said, Katherine's funny and charming, incredibly intelligent, and very personable. She's a penguin—give her a reason to give a shit and she's there. (She will drive a bus over you if you do piss her off, though.)

She does have terrible self-esteem deep, deep down due to a buttload of trauma. She's a mother and she's slowly starting to acknowledge it for herself, and she likes to adopt people and then kill for them. ☺️

About This Character: Arid is a combat suit AI (think JARVIS from Iron Man) from a universe where AI are both common and treated like shit by the humans who own them. Arid's owner was one such human who used Arid as a test subject for a new way to control AI: overwhelming fear. His experiment drove her to do awful things to other AI (and one human), for which she now seeks to redeem herself. That said, she hates humanity for what they did to her and her kind, and does not include them as a valid part of her redemption arc. Sorry, everyone.
Any Warnings: Arid’s backstory includes themes of abuse, brainwashing, and rape. Her canon at large includes themes of slavery and mentions of sex trafficking.

Present Life: When Arid first arrived in Deerington, she quickly latched on to the two characters she defined as synthetic and treated everyone else—humans especially—with suspicion. Though she did gradually warm to a handful of human characters, in June, Mother Superior put the idea in her head that none of the humans in Deerington were real. Arid latched on hard to this theory and decided that Deerington was a simulation, the humans were all AI, and thus, maybe they could all be friends?

Then, last week, arguable-human Jonathan Sims psychically tortured her so badly that she tore out her own battery to make it stop. She's now trapped in a weaker body and coping very badly with the situation at large. She's also changed her mind on the "maybe we can all be friends" thing because even if none of the Sleepers are actually human, clearly some of you are pretty close in terms of general assholery!!
Future Ideas: Getting a job. Finding hobbies. Getting over her trust issues with humans. Also, please insert fluff directly into my bloodstream.

1. Friends: Arid's had a really shitty time of it lately and could use more positive CR. This can be difficult because she's a traumatized, angry, often violent AI with little-to-no empathy towards humans, but it's not impossible! After this month, Arid's going to be in a pretty dark place and could use both new friends and old friends to help pull her out of it!

1. Negative CR: Lbr, it's hard getting along with Arid. So why not take the path of least resistance and lean into it? Maybe your character doesn't like robots. Maybe they don't like Arid's humanophobia or her attempts to murder them due to Despair, etc. There's lot of ways to be enemies with this gal!

Extremely patient mentors: Due to her desire to redeem herself, Arid has great potential to learn new skills and try new things if she can be convinced that doing so will help her morally better herself. About This Character: Logan's a very old mutant with angry claws made of a metal that's poisoning him. He hasn't been very open about the latter, or how it's really Transigen's work (assumed) suppressing the mutant gene through modified food products, so his healing factor hasn't been keeping up and thus he's been wearing down. When he arrived he was much worse off, but game events have given him a boost and he's maintaining it. He's Laura's bio-dad by means of cloning, and pretty much a grumpy dude who likes cigars.

Present Life: Logan's just still getting acquainted to the brief bursts of peace here in Deerington, fixing up his house and pondering the idea of loosely setting roots in the dirt. He has had a few encounters with people who have pushed him toward that, also he feels compelled to be around and take care of Laura and Rogue due to canon relationships (despite universes,) and has somehow come to mentor two dumb teens Billy and Stiles as well in a gruff, backwards way. It's making him feel like it's harder to disappear (which is what he would've wanted,) so he's starting to open up! He's also head over heels for Jean Grey who is from a doomed timeline, so there's angst where that's concerned.
Future Ideas: Long term goals: I would like to find a way to keep boosting Logan's health through IC progression, whether that's finding some treatment plans and going through that to see if it works and mapping out the ups and downs or just using events and player actions to get him a little closer to a cure, so to speak. Really open to ideas!

I also would love to just get more CR with Logan and everyone around him because he may be gruff but he'll also have a heavy conscience make him take a few steps back around into helping, despite all his desires not to, should something go awry. He has a really hard time trusting adults because adults are either evil or incompetent of a mix of the two where he's from and children aren't ALL that much better. He likes to take photographs, play video games, read, and secretly really really really enjoys hugs and never gets any without strings attached.
Any Warnings: Well to start, he has an opt-out. But Ritsuka deals with an abusive mother and neglectful father, a literal sociopath brother who was grooming him, a 21-year-old pedophile who has convinced him that he loves Ritsuka only to abandon him in a cemetery. And Ritsuka is also fighting against a school that's trying to turn him into a magical child soldier for a secret underground council that is trying to murder his brother (because again, his brother is a sociopath). The tl;dr is that Syaoran's the descendant of a powerful magican and next head of his clan, and acted the Designated Ice-King Magical Rival in his series until he got a blow to the feels and fell in love with his rival and became Designated Boyfriend instead. Oops. He starts the series as a grumpy, aloof, jerk-ish kid, but becomes a lot softer, nicer and attentive as time goes on, and overall he's a generally kind kid and good bean who's incredibly honest and straightforward! He sort of comes across as an old guy in a kid's body with how serious and mature he is, but he's also stupidly gullible and innocent and would probably fall for any bullshit story should anyone feed him one. (He also flusters and blushes more than the actual heroine of this shoujo series, so--) He also stresses a ton about people he cares about/those close to him and tends to get very protective of them, so uh... being here is gonna be a fun time for him for sure.

Day to Day Activities: At any given time, you're welcome to find Wrench at Deerington Community College, at his barbershop on East Main Street, or around town as he makes his way between private tutoring lessons. He also spends a good amount of time hunting, fishing, trapping, and foraging around the cabin and near Lake Tomie. He's a regular at B&B's Restaurant, though usually makes his appearance just before they open for morning service. Wrench can also be found in the evenings hanging out at Pixie's Booze and Moves where he will be keeping an eye on things, helping deliver drinks and mop up spills, and occasionally engaging in some after-hours slow dancing.

About This Character: Wrench is a former hitman who worked for -- and was largely raised up within -- the Fargo crime syndicate. SPOILERS: He's taken from a canon point where he's five years out from the incident that killed his former partner (dividingline) and completely obliterated Fargo. The five years prior were largely spent with him on the run. Just before his introduction to Deerington, he was captured and on his way to federal prison.
Any Warnings: Because of Wrench's background, both his canon and his personal history are heavy on gun violence, general violence, murder, torture, and kidnapping. I also assume based on canon clues that he was coercively kidnapped as a child and groomed to become a hitman, and that his early life contained elements of child abuse.

Present Life: Wrench views Deerington as the best place he could possibly be right now, and is generally trying to adjust to the most "normal" life he's ever lived, in between bouts of torture and strange incidents with monsters. Still, he'd take this place over where he comes from any day of the week. (A point that I'd like to create some eventual friction for him with.) He's enjoying the company of the men in the cabin and developing some really, really strong connections (as is his canon tendency).

Right now, Wrench is in the process of figuring out for himself who he is, apart from the tool that he's been used as for most of his life. What can and what would he do if left entirely to his own devices? He's basically accepted Deerington at this point and has moved from questioning how he got here to using this place as an opportunity to try everything life has denied him.

Future Ideas:
→ Wrench recently enlisted some help honing the very elementary magic skills he was initially taught some time ago. I'd love to continue to explore this aspect and delve a little more deeply into what's possible for him to access.

I'm really interested in him interacting with people now after that "fighting against being at Deerington" process has shifted into a sort of "next stage." Now that he's (finally, it only took an entire year) coming out of hiding a bit, learning some interpersonal skills is a thing he could use, too. So maybe they could chat sometime and we could see how that goes! For one Awkward Teenager + Large Gruff Man.

About This Character: Inaba is the type of girl that puts a front - she acts cold and distant towards others, but in a way where she tries to act generally polite (unless she's pissed) towards strangers because she's afraid of being betrayed by others - that's why she has trouble trusting others. But when she does trust someone and open up to someone, she is anything but. She is kind and with a warm heart, someone that cares about others and puts them first, but without being self-sacrificial. She does sometimes overthink things through, though. But she's also a CRAU from SCP/The Foundation, which is basically a short term murdergame as well. Application if you want further deets.
Any Warnings: Murder, extreme signs of depression, suicide, mentions of unreality and fourth-walling. About This Character: Clarke was born in space and thrown into post apocalyptic Earth where she soon takes on the the role of being one of the leaders of the delinquents. She is the medic of the group once they are on the ground and she tries her hardest to keep her people safe and circumvent wars between the Grounders or any other threat constantly trying to survive. She can be a bit standoff-ish, way too serious for her own good and most of the time she can come across like a bossy know it all without realizing since she comes across as very authoritative with the confidence to match. Clarke does have some trust, self loathing issues and a huge guilt complex going on but she's loyal and stubborn to a fault while being pretty selfless when it comes to protecting her people and those she considers to be her friends.

Any Warnings: Death, loss, murder, torture, suicide ideation, violence, survivor's guilt, PTSD, paranoia, etc. Much of this won't really even come up aside from the occasional introspect because her canon is a disaster.

Present Life: Clarke survived Praimfaya (aka apocalpyse 2.0) !! because Nightblood is a thing which actually worked so she didn't die like she thought she was going to. The down side is that being she was the last person left on Earth so she has been living in isolation and trying to do her best to survive so with ending up in Deerington, it honestly feels like a fever dream to her so between being new here and all, she is she tries to get used to being around people existing again and how things are so much different here with what's available compared to things back home. She's very suspicious of all this and has been trying to focus on figuring it out since she doesn't really buy any of this.

For this event she has the title of Ultimate Artist so she's definitely leaning more into that if anyone wants to be model for her but gradually through the event she is going to be dealing with a lot of her guilt which will leave her being kind of a mess while she tries to help out others dealing with the same thing because she is that person who puts everyone else first.

Future Ideas: I would love to have Clarke get to the point where she starts opening up to and start to trust people more over her time here so right now my plans just involve building up her CR and seeing where that goes.

Additionally she recently won Sodder's Ring in the raffle so something I want to play around with is the fact she can now be invisible when/if she uses it and the additional effects from wearing it which include being able to pick up thoughts + impressions of memories for people nearby because I think it could be a fun cr opportunity! About This Character: App here The first thing that anyone who looks at Rhys will see is lots of tattoos, piercings, and long hair, definitely not the sort to blend in. He actually looks like the type most people cross the street to avoid. But he's kind and quick to get involved with things when given the opportunity, especially if there's a way for him to help with something. Rhys isn't a throw-down fighter but he doesn't tend to let that stop him and he can be a bit of a scrapper when needed, especially with a few nasty magical abilities at his call. He is recently out of prison and haunted by some of his past, but trying very hard to move past it and become the sort of person that he can respect.
Any Warnings: Rhys is an empath and a fairly good one at that, able to sense the overall well-being and supernatural status of people around him. Rhys has a past of drug abuse, murder, child neglect/abuse, psychic vampirism, and sexual excess, and still carries CW for mild drug use and sexual content, being a very open and hedonistic sort when given the chance. I tend to play these situations very carefully and with other-player permission, however!

Present Life: Rhys is still getting settled after only a month here in Deerington, but has gotten into a rather basic routine that he's doing okay at. He's trying to cope with the fact that he just found out he's not human, he's a full blooded incubus (thanks to his handy Deerington ID card). The fact that his healing abilities no longer work properly and that the town is giving him weird visions and hallucinations is also sort of a problem for him, so things are very much day to day for him as far as staying out of trouble and being a Productive Member of Society.
Future Ideas: I would like for Rhys to get more involved in some of the more occult happenings in town since that's an area of expertise for him. I heard there were magic books out there and that is definitely a subplot that interests me. >.>

CR You Want: Bring me everything! Rhys needs friends and allies in this strange new place, particularly other supernatural types because he's not used to being able to interact openly with other non-humans. He also wouldn't mind some romantic involvement, though understandably that might be difficult under the circumstances, at least until he gets settled a bit more.
- People to explore Rhys's powers with would be a lot of fun, though he's still technically on the wagon as far as choosing not to feed on people. I'm expecting for him to break this particular rule eventually, either in the context of a relationship or under extreme stress.
- People who are afraid/disgusted by what Rhys is might be an interesting angle to explore because he really isn't human and is still getting used to that idea. He's used to being seen in a negative light and overcoming that to build eventual trust is something I'd definitely like to explore.

About This Character: Atsushi is generally a sweet boy who wants to help others. He cares a lot, even for strangers, and will go above and beyond to help anyone in need. His past has left him a touch skittish and riddled with anxiety, and with his self-esteem beaten into the ground. He's also kind of snarky and can have a sharp tongue. More often than not, he's going to be polite and keep his head low.
Also, he has angry management issues and a hero complex and suuper hates Mother Superior.
And his canon is like... it wanted to be a roaring 20s mafia show, but it also wanted cellphones. And he can't seem to keep his leg on. Bungo Stray Dogs is an experience.
Any Warnings: He comes with a CW: Child Abuse. Atsushi spent his last 18 years in an orphanage, where he was beaten mentally and physically. Atsushi also has some PTSD, and has audio and visual hallucinations when under stress.

Present Life: Right now, he's coasting on the belief that his canonmates will someday come solve everything and take him home! And the wind is failing those sails. Atsushi is at a loss for what to do in Deerington, because he doesn't know how to get home and is afraid to set roots in a horror town.

In the event, Atsushi has a plotting post over here, but will generally just be... madsad. He's really frustrated by how useless he is and his inability to save anyone. His title is Ultimate Beast, which may lead to him being more short-tempered than usual.
Future Ideas: I would like for him to go to school. Silly and small goal, but I think getting an education would help with his lack of self-worth. Also, building his confidence in general. Atsushi has not had very many positive relationships in his canon, sans the Detective Agency, so he doesn't know how to socialize.

Things to play with... He has automatic regeneration and I would like for that to backfire more. Longstory short, he uses his auto-healing as an excuse to keep fighting when a normal human would stop. Atsushi has no regard for his well-being. I'd like to play with the auto-regen to teach him to be less reckless and realize that there are consequences to his fighting style.

CR You Want: A mentor would be really helpful. He does well with a positive authority figure to help him navigate the world. Atsushi could also benefit from friends his age and general friendship CR. He's a protective person and has a big brother instinct, even if he doesn't know what being a 'big brother' means. Roommates might be nice for him too.

Day to Day Activities: Before summer break, going to school (where his usual activities are following Luna Lovegood around like a gloomy shadow, skipping classes, having Possessed Fits when he actually does attend his classes, and falling asleep in random broom closets)... Wandering the town at night in a creepy zoned-out state and ending up on random people's lawns, cleaning up various items that his demon brings home, normal things. He's also lately been getting back into music, playing his guitar and keyboard.

About This Character: Peter is your average, incredibly traumatised teenage vessel for an ancient demon that was "handed down" through his family via botched possession attempts and finally successfully placed into the right host (Peter ♥) by a cult just prior to his arrival in Deerington. Said demon predates Christianity and is one of the goetic kings of Hell known as Paimon, though he's also been quite traumatised and is still extremely lost, himself. Here is some more information on this situation / Paimon! As for a bit more on Peter, he's mostly like a six-foot-tall twitchy spider: he just wants to stay hidden in the shadows, a little scary but mostly harmless to others.... He's shy, soft, and dangerously vulnerable on the inside, a product of growing up through unhealthy family dysfunction and the drawn-out process of being a sacrificial lamb who was progressively weakened and possessed. ....He's not fun at parties, or anywhere else.

Any Warnings: In particular, what will come up in my writing for this character is psychological, emotional, and physical distress related to demonic possession. There are details of that here, as well as the (many) other warnings from his canon. Emotional and psychological trauma, frequent anxiety/panic attacks, and familial death are also big themes that are frequently present in this character.

Present Life: His "Ultimate Host" title through July means that Peter has progressively been taken over by Paimon, fulfilling his "purpose" of being Paimon's vessel. That process has pushed Peter to desperately reach out to anyone who seems to have any kind of experience with such things, in attempt to help.... but nothing will. Until Luna Lovegood ends up making a pact with Paimon to try and ground him / give him purpose again, which will help calm him down a bit after July passes and give him some focus. Peter's also made connections with quite a few people who can offer different types of insight, and help him at least deal with his possession, even if it can't necessarily be cured. Meanwhile, Paimon's been forming some new relationships with others and seeking out "guidance" from them — the effects of which may be positive or negative. Time shall tell.....

Future Ideas: Peter has been in Deerington almost a year now, and finally knows Paimon's name! It's been.. a journey.... I'm seeing this as a sort of Stage 2 for them. Following the "Ultimate Host" thing and the bond experience with Luna, Paimon will be more of a consistent presence in Peter's life (and thus his CR), as opposed to this dark shadow that's kept hidden away as much as possible. I also have plans to get a stabilising gem for him soon, to allow him to permanently regain some of his powers. While still a weird, lost version of himself, Paimon's going to be reconnecting with what he really is a bit more — I'd love him to start practicing his "request/wish-granting" to people he's formed relationships with. (He's kind of like a genie; he functions through being given "offerings" and then granting "rewards"). His concept of that is a little skewed, and Deerington warping him down means his "rewards" might come in the form of like, dead things or old pieces of jewelry or Peter's pocket change, but.... he needs that system to keep him in line. Come request things from one messed up demon king.

CR You Want: Fellow horror peeps, those with supernatural themes or experiences, anyone with connections to demons or angels of various lore / demonology / magic-practitioners / witchcraft / etc. Others around Peter's age (17), classmates and teachers to deal with his haunted butt on a regular basis, younger teens and kids for him to Sadly Big Brother (he comes with a heaping dose of dead little sister guilt). I'm very interested in emotional / psychological focused situations; Peter is a character who really works well for slow-paced, heavy circumstances more than action-based ones. I like to dig deep and slowly unravel things, so I'm forever here for emotional things or exploring character traumas, etc. Hurt / comfort opportunities are also always on the table for this one. Negative or conflicted feelings in others would be great as well, given he's... pretty fucking eerie? I'd love to play around with more people being creeped out by him, or those who don't take well to what's inside of him for various reasons. About This Character: mrs s. is a former angel that gave up eternity after falling in love with a human, asking god to make her mortal so she could have a life with him. she is a huge caretaker, no matter how old someone is she'll look out for them, care for them or basically mother them a little. she's kind, helpful and really just wants to see humanity thrive. she's also very naturally curious and wants to at least know the history around this place whilst protecting anyone she can.

Present Life: she's currently dead! despite being the ultimate nurturer and trying to keep everyone safe the things that she keeps very repressed ended up getting the better of her, with chloe price eventually killing her after her grief started physically manifesting. but before that she was doing her ultimate nurturer thing, including lots of water and ice cream during the heatwave. i'm happy to thread some cute ice cream chats or anything with her in ultimate mode. during the secrets the fact that she's an angel was written HUGE across the walls so i'm happy for people to have seen that!
Future Ideas: she's been talking with a couple of people about it and scouting out locations but i want her to set up some sort of safehouse deal, somewhere when it gets dangerous anyone (but especially the kids) can go and hide out, knowing that there's food, water etc there to let them just bunker down and wait out the wildness.

Day to Day Activities: School's out for summer so Jean has a bit more free time on her hands now. If she's not at the Hart Mart, she's trying to fix up her house that she accidentally wrecked a bit thanks to a nightmare (whoops), visiting/spending time with CR, learning self-defense from Captain America as you do, trying to hone in on Mother Superior with her telepathy but she's a slippery one, occasionally at the diner Frank owns because Laura told her the hot chocolate is good there. Really just around, she doesn't really have any hot spot to be found at or anything.

About This Character: Jean's a mutant with two mutations: telepathy and telekinesis. Basically, she can not only read your mind but also move things with her mind. She's also capable of some other things with those powers of hers but she never does the telepathy thing unless she has permission from you to. She also has a chaotic and unhinged personality known as Phoenix but more about her later. Jean's a pretty kind and compassionate person who is always willing to help those in need in whatever way she can. Because she's always been able to feel everything from everyone, she can easily put herself in another's person's shoes and is pretty understanding about a lot of things. She's sometimes insecure about her own abilities (feeling like Charles is a better mentor for things) but does her best to help those with similar gifts or just struggling in general. She completely knows what it's like to feel alone and like no one could understand you and so she tries her best to reach out to those who feel that way. She can also be a bit playful and flirty though depending on how comfortable she feels around you.

Any Warnings: Things that may come up with Jean are persecution for being a mutant, acts of cruelty towards mutants, character death, character sacrifice, separate personalities aka Phoenix, being responsible for the death of loved ones. The first two are more likely to come up than the others unless she feels comfortable enough with you.

Present Life: Jean's recently come to learn about Phoenix both in her own timeline from Logan and with her alternate self from Kurt. So that's a thing. Seeing that she's going to kill Charles Xavier in her own timeline and hear that she ends up doing some pretty bad things as another version of herself from Kurt, Jean's taken a bit of a hit with her confidence there regarding her control and powers and so she's been sort of keeping away from others with the fear of accidentally hurting them and just trying to figure out what to do about it. It doesn't help that she's been feeling more and more like letting go and now she knows that it's basically Phoenix trying to come out. She's not going to give up though! Just taking time to try and figure out what to do/how to not hurt the people she cares about as she's supposedly doomed to regardless of what version she is.

She's also about to lose three(??) of her CR to this event so she's going to be dealing with the whole how it feels to lose people to death around here and trying to process that while also being support for others who need it.

But there's also talks of treehouses being built with Laura, feelings being felt with Logan (xmcu), friendships being made both with different versions of people she knows and people she's met here, and just trying to make the most of her time here since her timeline is not a great one to go back to, womp womp.

Future Ideas: Despite Jean working hard to try and remain in control of her powers and self, there's going to be a point where she loses out to Phoenix and the other personality is going to take control... for a bit.... of time. I don't intend to make her be a villain looking to cause chaos but more someone wanting her freedom she's been denied for some twenty years because Charles Xavier locked her away. That's not to say she'll play nice should you get in her way, try to control her, or think she needs to be locked back up. As the repressed side/power of Jean, she'll be feeling a lot of different things while simultaneously coming into her power and so there will be moments of confusion and lashing out from her if you're not careful. The good end is Jean and Phoenix coming to coexist together. The bad end is Phoenix realizing she is Power and thus why she was locked away in the first place and doesn't have to answer to anyone/do whatever she wants. So I guess we'll see what happens. But opportunities to interact with Phoenix will be a thing for those interested as well as her CR.

CR You Want:
- Fellow telepaths are always great since Jean's only ever known Charles as the other one in her life.
- Different versions of people she knows or those who know her. I'm always open to this since TIMELINES/REALITIES.
- If you need help with something related to the mind (repressed memories/locked powers), Jean can do her best to help you there with her telepathy.
- New friendships or strengthening current ones. If you've crossed paths with Jean before and would like to develop CR further, I'm totally open to that! o/

Day to Day Activities: When he's not working at the bar or chasing (or being chased by) monsters, Kurt can usually be found doing any of the following:

▶ Keeping up his exercise routine in the forest, in the very early AM -- this consists mostly of working through various gymnastic routines in the trees, sword drills, basic callisthenics etc.
▶ Helping out with whatever he can at the church.
▶ Browsing for new books, in the thrift shop looking for clothes (which somehow keep ending up looking like this), or making an enjoyable nuisance of himself at Manes on Main.
▶ Patrolling across various rooftops.
▶ Hanging out around the lake and the cabin.

He also hosts karaoke night at Pixie's on the last Friday of every month & the Sleeper Support Group on the second Tuesday of every month (more details for both can be found here), plus softball practice on Saturdays (when the town isn't on fire), so you can expect to find him at these activities unless he's otherwise engaged with Deerington's usual foibles. About This Character: Kurt is unexpected in a whole heap of ways. He looks like a spooky demon but he's really just a charming cuddly goofball who loves to make jokes and have fun. For a while he was studying to become a priest, though that may or may not have been an illusion implanted in his mind (rule #1 of dealing with a Marvel comics character: just.. try not to think about it too hard). He's still holding on to his Catholic faith, but these days it's more defined by an ongoing belief in larger forces than being too tied to doctrine. Good Catholic boys don't tend to fall in love with murderers, after all.

These days his antics are a little more toned down, but he's still a charmer. He's also dealing with having fairly recently come back from the dead in canon (long story short: he was killed in battle and went to Heaven, but was kind of miserable there without his friends, then there was a fight with his demon father on a flying ship, blah blah, he was resurrected but may not have a soul now), but it's cool. Ish. Mostly.

He's also got the added Deerington exclusive trauma of not being able to teleport (his main mutant ability) without it literally tearing his fuzzy little body to pieces. Not that he usually tells anyone that until he has to.

Any Warnings: Kurt's past includes a lot of violence and a decent amount of child neglect and abuse, though I will try as much as I can to warn for these things if they're going to come up. He has had a fairly happy life in canon but it hasn't been easy (thanks, superhero comics!), so he might also dwell on his own or other deaths, injuries, possessions by weird ghouls and aliens, etc. He's also an adult in a number of relationships, so some threads may drift into sexual/nsfw territory, but again any content of this kind will carry warnings.

Kurt is a (semi) practising Catholic so scenes with him may also include references to that religion/religious themes in general, though not often heavily. Please let me know if you would rather I avoid any of this!

Present Life: As time goes on, Kurt's becoming more settled and (knock on wood) happy in Deerington, though not without a few bumps in the road. He experienced his first death at the end of October last year and that was gnarly enough to not bear repeating, so he's definitely becoming more aware of the potential cost of remaining in the dream as well as the good things it has brought and continues to bring into his life. Coming to terms with the fact that he might not actually want to wake up (and that they might not have a choice in the matter) is an ongoing thread running through a lot of his time at the moment.

Future Ideas: Everything is going kind of (fingers crossed) OK at the moment for Kurt. Between his job, his work in the community and his home life, he's got some stability going. The spring has been tough and it would be great if the people he cares about would just, you know, stop dying for a little while, but at the moment he's doing all right.

Recently he has had his own faith tested somewhat and with the reappearance of Mother Superior I'm interested in digging into a bit more of that, as well as his ongoing conflict between what he wants and his responsibilities to the people of Deerington.

CR You Want:

▶ Friends! Kurt is a people person, please give him more people. Especially friends around his own age to hang out with, kids he can mentor, non-humans and mutants he can share solidarity with, etc.
▶ Since he's working at Pixie's, I'd also love to explore who he might be meeting there, or just seeing on the regular -- who is coming to open mic night? Who might just be hanging out there to enjoy the tunes? Who turns up every week looking for new records? Bring me your music lovers, your booze hounds, your karaoke veterans yearning to play one more Dolly Parton number.
▶ Religious buddies. Kurt hasn't had much chance to really explore this side of himself in Deerington (yet), but I'd like to start exploring that -- what does it mean for his faith, long term, to be in a place like this?

Day to Day Activities: Right now just getting the lay of the land, trying to figure out what the hell is going on. Since he's coming from an alternate timeline where Sam said yes to Lucifer and now Lucifer is slowly taking over, his world has a super apocalyptic vibe. So the fact that he can... actually walk into a coffee shop again or get a burger is going to be very enjoyable lmao. He's sort of avoiding Sam since it took a hot second for him to understand that he isn't Lucifer so may have tried to kill him. He's got a very nagging feeling of being adrift because he's realised that he's been taken away from the one thing he wanted to achieve which is killing Lucifer. He can be found around town but highly likely to be alone and looking like he really doesn't want company.

About This Character: Full info here - Alright so because this is an AU Dean from a pretty messed up version of the world, he's not quite as nice as OU Deans can be. Topline differences are mainly: he hasn't seen his brother in 5 years, his brother is now possessed by Lucifer, he's obsessed with killing Lucifer, it makes him unbalanced af. He trusts precisely nobody so he's a hard nut to crack. He's been leading a resistance against Lucifer with the intention of surviving a harsh world and killing him so it's all he's been geared towards for a few years now.
Any Warnings: He comes with a few warnings tbh lmao. His content warnings are here in more detail but mostly it's violence, mental health issues, some offensive opinions on religion at times and because he's from a world where it's a virus pandemic style apocalypse, seems very apt to warn about that too.

Present Life: Main thing right now is just adjusting (badly) to having been pulled from everything he's been building towards for the last couple of years. Sam and Castiel are providing difficult things to deal with just by existing so that's something he's avoiding dealing with.
Future Ideas: Eventually I'm hoping he goes some way to repairing some of the relationships he used to have. He's never going to be whole again but I'd like him to work on improving how broken he is because what a sad boi. Also forging some new relationships once he remembers HOW to have friends again.

CR You Want: Mostly casual acquaintances because he's not in a mindset right now where friends is a possible thing. That said, I'm more than interested to lay some foundations for friendships developing over the coming months! It'll be a rollcoaster but eventually it'll pay off?? Probably???
